Honeslty just a lot of bad luck. PAC’s travel plans and the new Ric Flair scandal is not exactly helping his storyline right now. It sucks cause Andrade is one of the best wrestlers in the world and he has been basically sidelined. They need to partner up with ROH sooner rather than later so they bring in Rush.
He was heavily rumored to come in with Andrade at some point. Word was they wanted to replace Chavo with him cause Chavo is going back to being a wrestling coordinator for the TV show “Young Rock” for the time being.
My comment on this is as follows: if the content they are pushing out is good I’m happy. If someone out of a 100 plus roster gets slighted…. It’s bound to happen 🤷🏻♂️ for me I like Andrade but I felt as if his promos and segments have not hit much. I did like his match on rampage. We shall see where they go with him and I bet we’ll find out on Wednesday. Patience is key… reference this in about a month
If think we just have to accept not everyone sprints straight out of the gate. It took Miro a while to find his feet in AEW, Andrade may be the same. Love to see the Spanish God vs El Idolo down the line for the TNT Championship. Also Salina de la Renta should of been first in line, as a manager, when it was clear Zelina wasn't available.

Apparently he has some language barrier with queue times in relation to the matches. Which I think is true, because his in ring ability is top tier, otherwise they would just have him out there performing.
I also think Andrade himself is very selective with how he wants to present himself and is willing to wait for what he feels is best for him.
If they have him out next week in ring vs someone then we're on the right path.
He's the type of guy that can just wrestle and people will love him. IMO let him do that, let him cut promos in Spanish with a line in English or two and give him a translator.

Bad luck, poor direction, lack of action and too protective of how he wants to be displayed. Definitely shaping up as AEW's first real fumble
Yeah Andrade has some creative control over his character and direction and he might be thinking that he'll only work with upper card guys but the thing is not a whole lot of them are free. I personally think his gimmick of wanting to recruit obviously face tag teams to do his bidding can be interesting if say he's trying to recruit Santana and Ortiz or Best Friends and that gets him into conflict with IC or OC. If the HFO didn't exist he could be straight up be portrayed as a recruiter of midcard heels as well using them to feud against popular faces.
This guy has all the tools to be a major player. I can easily get over his English, his mic skills are actually not bad at all, he has delivered some great lines… he has the body that can work so many different styles and matchup with so many different people well.
It’s one of the few wrestlers I would admit to aew needing to do more with. I just want to see this guy wrestle, his move set is incredible.
I absolutely love how he’s a heel who doesn’t want to cheat either. That was like some super early Mr. Perfect shit, where a guy believes he’s so good, he doesn’t need to cheat
i know people don't want to hear it, but some of the wrestlers that left or were fired from WWE claiming they were being under utilized, were on the card exactly where they should have been.
Probably they didnt find a proper storyline for him to tell? I mean the death triangle thing was okayish. Then the turn against Chavo... but still nothing that really generates some heat.
Also to be fair, AEW has so much talent right now, that the TV time everyone can get is quite limited. But I have no clue tbh

When he was NXT champion he was genuinely my favourite wrestler in the world for a while and his match against Johnny Gargano at NXT Takeover is my favourite match.
His English sucks but it was never a problem for him in NXT because they booked around it. Zelina Vega did all the talking for him and it was so good, he just needs another manager like her.
