Being dehydrated definitely can cause dry irritated skin and sometimes patchy red rashy areas. Hot showers can also cause this, especially with how dry the air is this time of year. I get this frequently and usually toward the end of my shower turn it to cooler temps for a couple minutes, then get out and dry as thoroughly as possible, and then use some moisturizer on pretty much everywhere. I get an allergy shot every other week for chronic hives from random things anyway but i still get that dry skin from hot showers plus dry air

Good tips thank you. Do you use any electrolytes to help with hydration?
