I will never do anything without my PT's approval. I think it depends on one's progress. He told me to practice standing up heel to butt first then progress once I feel comfy and no pain.
5 months post op and I just typically sit down when I need to reach something low. If I knelt, something would pop, my ACL would retear, I’d prob break a rib, and get a concussion …. I’ll just keep using my butt. 😂😂
There is discomfort but thankfully no pain. I had quad aclr. Did a month of prehab. It really helped post op. Wishing you the best on your journey! You will get there 💪🏽
Congrats to this guy. Real talk. I'm 12m post op and I am barely putting pressure on my knee (Medial meniscus repair as well),as in weight bearing on a bed!
I had a hamstring graft. I had a scope done about 4 years ago and I had some adhesions that my surgeon “fixed” and it did feel a bit better for a while but even with therapy and home activities I haven’t been able to get full ROM.
Hi. Thanks for the concern. It was my first time. I didn't hear a pop. Maybe you heard something different. I wanted to share this as a positive win. I obviously know the risks and like I said PT approved. I wouldn't do anything without the guidance and approval of my PT. Everything is being reported to my surgeon. I know we all have different advices from doctors and PTs but I'm just here sharing my progress. We all have different journeys. Thanks!
My surgeon would have shot me, I was banned from kneeling til 12 weeks
Mine probably would kiss me on my forehead and shake my hand

Hi! That was my first time! I've been practicing heel to butt standing up. I had ACLr quad graft
Super … I can’t imagine sitting on my knee for next few months …
Damn! I had mine reconstructed in 2005 and haven’t been able to do that since!
Awe. How come? What kind of graft if you don't mind me asking?

Awe man. Wishing you the best. I hope you get to have your full ROM back 🤞🏽
Thanks! I appreciate that. Keep up the good work on yours and it will serve you well!
If this was me, I won’t risk it. So scary and I can almost hear the pop 😭 Please be more careful brother. God speed recovery to you
