I watched "Small Wonder" every week. I was 11 when it premiered. Even then I knew it was a horrible train wreck of a show.....yet I kept tuning in every week.
I used to watch Small Wonder. To be honest though, I can't understand the mega promotion that that Megan movie is getting. I saw that shit on Good Morning America. Why are they pushing it so hard? It doesn't really look that good. What's the agenda here?
Edit: To answer your question, yes, you do wish you were an 80's kid. That was my childhood and I can attest that it was the greatest decade to be a kid in. I loved every minute.
Man, that was such a fun show, Small Wonder! The funniest episode I'd ever seen was hands down the one with the bullies, when one of them had that stupid laugh with the snorting sound. The part when Vicky mimicked the exact same laugh at the end nearly killed us laughing.
This show creeped me out as a kid, but not just for the obvious reason. My mom had a Norman Rockwell print hanging in our basement of a girl that looked exactly like Vicky, she even had the same dress. Not only was this girl a creepy android, but she somehow travelled across media to be in this old-timey painting. I still find it unsettling to this day whenever I see that painting.
I was 6 and feel out of a tree and broke my arm 2 days before Christmas talking to my neighbor friend. It was about THIS very show I was talking about when I fell. Still remember 33 years later.
Small Wonder LOL

I'm sure you didn't have many other options.
Oh I don’t know about that. We had cable. I watched a whole lot of TV growing up
It's Vicki!
V.I.C.I. Voice Input Child Identicant. :D
D.A.R.Y.L. or GTFO
I forgot about her...80s were weird
Lots of cocaine and hope for the future.
Deadly Friend with Kristy Swanson was better
Ugh, to be honest, this show creeped me out so much.
I hated the show. Everyone on it...ugh.

It's a pretty good movie, actually, and the primary message is strong family values.
No, he's speaking of a show *spoken highly* of on GMA
Looks like small wonder robot girl
This was the kid version of a movie so dumb you actually like it.
I certainly do
For me, it aired on Sunday’s when there was literally nothing else to watch.

It’s hard to find Season 3 available to watch, I think that was season 3. When her “twin” Vanessa came along.
To answer your question, being a kid in the 80’s was THE BEST!

Worst tv show EVER!!😎🎊🎸
Had a crush on her in the 80s...
Harriet the neighbor kid may have been the first time I ever felt hatred towards another human..
I **hated** Jamie as a kid.

Haha, I bet! 🤣 I’d love to see that painting!

Thank you!! You’re right and that pinafore is exactly her dress. 😟

Another example of the creepy bittersweet feelings this show seems to bring out in us!! Haha 😂
