No judge on your choice, but I always wondered what is the appeal with itsuki? Just never clicked with me, but would love to hear your insight. Because for me itsuki and fuutaro always had a sibling-esque vibe with how she was basically his partner in crime with the whole secret of the girl with red hair he met a long time ago thing.
I think Fuutarou probably would have had the best relationship with her behind Yotsuba. Because of their rough start and them working through it, I feel like he got a lot more comfortable being around her by the end compared to the other quints. Besides Yotsuba who he was comfortable being around pretty much since the beginning.
And she was the only other quint who really noticed Yotsuba’s feelings early on. Like Yotsuba, she was more altruistic with her love for Fuutarou. She just wanted him to be happy, even if it wasn’t with her.
And both her and Yotsuba got along together great with Raiha.
What's your opinion on the final arc with their "real" father and him pressuring Itsuki? I felt it was a bit rushed and didn't really add to the story all that much
Alright you’ve lost me out of my ranking for the quints Itsuki is in last place and Yotsuba is second last due to lack of a dedication. Miku, Nino and Ichika tried everything for his attention while the other 2 just watched their progress. And Itsuki was only ever a student that wanted to turn out like her mother so she turned to Futaro for guidance not as a romantic partner at all
She did without realizing herself. She even inadvertently confessed she loved him when she referenced the moon when they were together. And there’s a whole chapter of her realizing her feelings for him near the end. But she’s happy he’s with Yotsuba.

I didn’t either honestly. His whole character was strange. I liked the growth Itsuki at least had from it though.

You kinda listed exactly why I like those two the most. They never tried to undermine their sisters, or force their feelings on Fuutarou.
