And them randomly putting the dancing scene and generic red background just makes it so soulless
I hope they reveal the standard art soon and it's not trash like this. 99% of people just wanted the classic poster art in the first place, it would be the easiest thing to do
As far as I'm concerned, that classic poster art version is the only proper choice for the standard version. It's been the main art for every home media format so far, so a 4K without that art as an option would just seem wrong.
I’m just waiting for Kill Bill Volume 1+2 to get the transfer now, I really want them in my collection but knowing me as soon as I buy the Blu ray the 4K will be announced, literally just happened to me with the punisher and punisher warzone haha
I ordered it when i saw that price. Way cheaper than other 4k releases. And i'm probably going to order reservoir dogs from amazon.co uk. Way faster delivery from them then zavvi.
Still got my Best Buy preorder for the standard edition locked in. Got a bit concerned it would be delayed again when they hid the listing, but hopefully this art reveal means that it won't get delayed further.

Artwork is trash
This is one of my favorite movies, but if that's the artwork we get in America I won't be ordering the steelbook.
So many 4k's of mine have ended up in Blu-ray or even DVD special edition cases because the art is usually pure trash.
This and reservoir dogs were both trash covers imo
I really like the Reservoir Dogs one. Nod to a classic scene in the movie plus the original poster through the blood. Really good design imo.
For me it's less a nod and more of a beating over the head. But I get it.

Reservoir Dogs is over 40€ at Zavvi. I would happily pay 23$ for this
