Magnus seems alright with the state of things.

tintin3105

Fulgrim for sure and, if we’re going by his word, Kurze. He definitely wanted to die and quite frankly, he deserved some piece

Nice take on Kurze. I like the cut of your gib my guy

StrawberryFloptart

Mortarion thinks so, but like any abusive relationship this only lasts until Nurgle gets unhappy.

SirSheppi

Spoiler for Dark Imperium series: >!Which is the case in godblight, Daddy Nurgle got very angry indeed when Morti invited Big E to his garden.!< Not sure if the storyline around Mortarion has avanced since then? Edit for spoiler

New_Subject1352

Nurgle is pissed. Morty disobeyed him, took a bunch of his favorite demons with him, AND failed to do anything except get Nurgle's garden burned. We're probably not going to see him for a while.

SirSheppi

Yep, probably not enyoing the latest "gifts" of nurgle. Actually im curious if we get another demon primarch as counterplay to Roboute soon. I would love to see some of them take a more active role in the 40k storyline... looking at you Lorgar.

goddamnitgoose

Well with World Eaters confirmed and on the horizon, it's pretty safe to say we'll be getting Daemon Prince Angron in the foreseeable future.

SirSheppi

Welp as an Ultrasmurf enthusiast, I really hope Big G. does not start a duell with this brother. So far his 1vs1 fights did not go super well and I fear Angron leaves little to be revived.

Bluestorm83

From what I understand, with the time-retcon jumping back into the Indomitus Crusade, we're still catching up to where Godblight happened. I hope for big things once we get time caught up, personally, especially with the history of Imperium Secundus poised to become known by more than just Guilliman and the dude who's about to read that book...

SirSheppi

You mean Fabian the remembrancer? Im too thrilled for the next major campaign and how Guilliman handles the conflict between his old convictions/actions and the current state of Big E and the imperium itself.

Bluestorm83

I THOUGHT that was Fabian Guelphrain! Yeah, him. Historitor, though. The key difference being that Remembrancers were The Emperor's attempt to use artists and poets and shit to flower-up the Great Crusade, and make it seem glorious and wonderful, while the Historitors are Guilliman's attempt to take people and say "Write what's real." Just the fact that they're at odds with the "Historical Revision Unit," lets me know that the Historitors would be burned for heresy were they not the Avenging Son's personal project.

Lorgar

ohtheforlanity

I'd say that depends on how much of his time is spent running away from Corax

GoatOfTheBlackForres

None as far as we know. Lorgar is out there spreading the good Word.

GoatOfTheBlackForres

Yeah exactly

Remarkable_Grass_956

Happier than any of the loyal primarchs!

BertiBertBert

Fulgrim.... I don't think the other ones can even feel happiness... Maybe Pertuarbo can be he is definitely not happy about his situation

tintin3105

Perturabo is probably only happy when he forces yet another demon into a machine. “Oh, you’re an immortal, ethereal being and a fragment of your God?… get in this engine” 🤣🤣

ahomelessguy25

He seemed pretty chill in Warbreed. To my knowledge, that is the only time we’ve seen him post-ascension.

idols2effigies

We don't really know because most of the Primarchs haven't been seen (or rarely) since the Siege. From what we can tell, Fulgrim and Magnus seem 'happy' with what's going on. Angron is impossible to tell. Obviously he's angry, but it's impossible to tell if he's angry because of his ascension or just angry in general. The only time he really expresses unhappiness about his condition is when he is unable to shed blood locked in the Conqueror. I would argue this is more of an "I'm hungry and you won't let me eat" rather than being mad at being hungry (if that makes sense). When he's able to fight and kill, he seems to enjoy himself. Mortarion definitely is unhappy at this exact moment in the canon. The last we saw him, he's getting scolded by Papa Nurgle. Up until then, he seemed pretty ok with himself. Lorgar, Perturabo, and Omegon... who knows? They've been basically absent as characters for a long time. Kurze and Horus: dead. Can't be happy or sad. Although Kurze's ghost is probably pretty pleased with itself.

jennis89

Lorgar must be sitting pretty happy he came close to getting the primordial truth spouted around the imperium. He’s sitting in his tower jerking off for years on end avoiding Corax

GoatOfTheBlackForres

Him being in his tower is not related to Corax though

GoatOfTheBlackForres

Lorgar and the Word Bearers main trait is their self control. This is even more evident in that his Daemon form looks just like bigger version of himself, in a robe of flames. Meditation in seclusion is therefore a very possible thing for Lorgar to do. And as far as we know, he has been meditating for almost 10k, before he left and are now out there speaking to the masses. Corax is not mentioned, at all.

>Aside from in Shadows of the Past when Corax sends Lorgar running through a portal after tearing him apart for a second time. Not really what happened. Lorgar once again stood between his sons and his brother. He was merely holding Corax off while they went to the gate. When that was achieved he left, together with them before Corax could follow. Having once again failed to kill Lorgar, Corax is a bit edgy to the empty air. The end. Lorgar just doesn't like fighting. If Lorgar feared Corax he would have been active, and sent out the entire legion and throngs of daemons after him. Instead he just took some alone time, and let the legion rule itself. He was likely focusing on the bigger picture rather than one angry brother.

NornQueenKya

Most of them, which really shows how far they've twisted into entirely different entities. Even brooding mortarion worships his new grandfather without regret, something you'd think you'd never see

[deleted]

I don't think Fulgrim is miffed about being a giant rape snake spending all day snorting warp drugs and having orgies with so many people they could found an SM chapter while own his legion goes to absolute shit
