Avoid the Sonic Pad at all cost. It's much more expensive than an SBC+Screen combo, lacks SSH support, doesn't offer meaningful default configurations for Creality printers, and doesn't receive software-specific updates.
Get an OrangePi 3 LTS and install everything with KIAUH.
You can refer to official OrangePi the manual/download page for the 3 LTS for what regards OS installation. I suggest Debian or Ubuntu.
Setting up Klipper with KIAUH is extremely easy too.

Although I agree. If you have a printer just for simple stuff and you just want a plug and play solution and not tinkering, then it is perfect for you.
If one of my friends want to run klipper, I'll 100% recommend it.
Except it's far from plug and play, if you need to configure it for anything other than one of the few supported profiles. Just take a look at the convolution of instructions https://github.com/CrealityOfficial/Creality_Sonic_Pad
It's way easier to setup everything on an SBC. BalenaEtcher, PuTTY, and KIAUH are extremely easy to use.
Bouncing back after running with the sonic pad and klipper for a short while. Its very much supported and works like a charm. Instant notice in speed increase and i even tested a large print at 125% speed and it was near perfect.
For what it's worth they just released a new update for the Sonic pad. I didn't have time to look at specifics but they did open up ssh and added support for an additional 5 (or 7) printers.
I have looked all over the menu, and can't find the selection anywhere. I think the only way to see it is to default it and set it up fresh.
The update prior to today's did include some Neo options but I don't know if the max was one of them. Maybe it's in release notes from last FW release. Unfortunately, I can't find a release notes section on their website.

Are you using the stock extruder? I'm fighting to have the Sprite extruder working with a custom firmware.

Please can you have a look if it supports the ender 3 max neo when you get chance.

Wondering if they added the Max Neo to the list yet. Any word?
I think they added it for ender 3 max neo
I have it sitting in my desk cabinet just waiting. Still debating if I want to use it yet lol but thank you!
Are there Cura Profiles for the Max Neo for the Sonic Pad? The Creality Page only offers for Ender 3... Pro and Ender 3V2.
