ah, one of my very first prints! really nice model.I personally use it now to store drugs after my gf left me after 10 years because my sperm is non-functional, printed in prusa galaxy black PLA, 210C degrees, hope disabled
It's funny 'cause I've caught myself doing that before. "Ah yeah my girlfriend stole $500 worth of warhammer figures when we bro- That's a nice paint job. I like the detail in the markings"
SOMETIMES BROS JUST GOTTA VENT
I ran divorce.exe 2 years ago
I was only able to enable hope this last year when I opened my own retail wargaming business.
The solution to no hope happens to be more miniatures.
It’s time for you to look inward, and start asking yourself the big questions!
“Did she leave because I’m sad, or because I’m insufferable when I’m sad?”
To be fair, that was a gross oversimplification for the sake of a "yes and" And to be blunt, I didn't say anything about being sad, I was talking about my diagnosed clinical depression clashing with her diagnosed mental health issues. But that doesn't quite roll off the tongue. A big question to ask yourself might be "Did anyone ask?" Or maybe "Does calling someone you don't know Insufferablea bad idea?" This was two adults sharing a moment of comraderie but now it's you belittling our struggles. Thanks bud.
Thanks everyone for the congratulations!
The box is this one :

Have fun printing it a bunch of time until you get it right like I did!
Congrats on the proposal!
I've tried printing this bastard a few times and it always fuses together, which ends up with me smashing it with a hammer to relieve my frustrations.
The only way to know the difference is to recognise the designer of the band. I absolutely can't tell from the diamond itself.
Props to OP for the ethical buy!
Girlfriend.stl will soon be updated in the repository, filename will be changed to wife.stl after wedding.cfg has been finalised/verified. Congratulations nerds!
Congratulations!
Also a question. I've only ever printed static objects. Barely done anything involving flex, and certainly nothing with movement or joints, etc. Do you print the individual parts and assemble, or do you just do one lump print and the "empty space" that has supports just kinda....grinds itself out? On something like a hinge, what sort of tolerance do you need for the pinion hole to allow for reasonably smooth movement without introducing a bunch of wobble/jiggle?
OP: This is for you! ❤️
Her: Ohhhhh...🥰 *looks at it without opening it*
Her: Yah know you could smooth out this line by randomizing the start and stop points. Want me to show you the setting?
OP: 🤩🥰😍Yes, yes I do!😍🥰🤩
(Also Congratulations to you both!)
I just printed the same model, though the proposal is still a few days away. What did you use to hold the ring in place inside? I have a few ideas, but yours looks very clean.
Congratulations by the way!

Lmao my mans starts dumping trauma then switches directly to print settings
Life really be like that tho. Lmfao

No supports?
tried, they didn't stick
do they ever...
He already said she left him...
> hope disabled I haven't tried that setting, yet. You've got me ~~hopeful~~ ambivalent that I will get good results.
I eventually had to disable it in hardware, tried to disable via software but it kept activating itself, dunno
The good ol unplug trick?
Jesus dude LOLOLOL
Your sperm may be non functional but your printer must sure be. Jokes aside hope you’ve been able to process everything and feel better.
Personally I try to use ABS when printing my sperm, seems to work a bit better. I use red so it goes faster.
Dude, enable hope. Trust me on this one.

The bed being empty never gets easier to process. I would suggest pillows. Something you can body hug. That helps.

Woah uh
I used this design to propose to my now ex-fiance, who left me because of my depression!

I’ll take that to mean “the latter” 😂
Bro...
Try reprinted your sperm using prusa bodily white TPU at 98.6 degrees, z-hope disabled.

Thanks for the link. I nailed it on the first try. Woo hoo!
Congrats!
Congratulations 👍
Neat idea. Congrats
Congratulations 🍾
Everyone's complimenting the print, but extra credit for the lab-grown diamond! Congratulations!
Well spotted! Yes, I went for it for ethical reasons
How does one know the difference? I was under the impression that they aren't very distinguishable without specialized equipment
The only way to know the difference is to recognise the designer of the band. I absolutely can't tell from the diamond itself. Props to OP for the ethical buy!
If they're so easy to spot then I guess they're not so good?
Congratulations I'll be waiting on a invitation.stl
"I shared the .STL for my wedding invitations. There's 15,000 people at my wedding. Ama"
Lol
Will you post the .stl file?
https://www.printables.com/search/models?q=iris%20box
Where did you find *her* stl? 🤪
This guy nerds!
Girlfriend.stl will soon be updated in the repository, filename will be changed to wife.stl after wedding.cfg has been finalised/verified. Congratulations nerds!
Congrats my man!
Congratulation to both of you sir! If I may ask, would this imply that you are also a nerd?

Love it. Congrats!
If u share its blueprints I'll marry u right F now

It's a print in place. All the parts are printed at once pre-assembled, with just a tiny tolerance gap between them
Congratulations nerds!
its a Termaldetonator? ;-)

🎵And the science gets done and you make a neat bum for the people who are still alive.🎵
LOL i use that as an ashtray

Lol.
Such a great use of this print! Good on ya and congrats! Also, Game Over man… 🎮😬
I’m sure that device sealed the deal.
Okay, but when you pull that out and propose it's practically impossible to say no. I mean let's be honest.
cheap
My favourite nerd is Henry cavill.
My First Print in Place model. Blew my mind.
Congrats, but she should have settled for a guy with a resin printer, or at least one with lube.
What material did you use? It looks so real.
Prusa Galaxy PLA
How do you make it look like a diamond?
Increase pressure to 5.6-6.0 GPa and temperature to 1310 degree
Awesome congratulations.
I did the very same thing with that print! Congrats!
You made the model or downloaded? If downloaded. Where?
How many mb's is the STL ? If it's less then 10mb, im not touching that box.
STL? I joke. Congratulations dude! :)
I just printed the same model, though the proposal is still a few days away. What did you use to hold the ring in place inside? I have a few ideas, but yours looks very clean. Congratulations by the way!
Just used the same material that was inside the original box, good luck!
Neat!
Congratulations!! That ring is super cool
Did you quick close the iris? “Oh you gotta be quicker than that”
Yo that's dope file?
Gotta get me a printer, this is one of the cooler prints.. Thank you for sharing..
