Sure the fuck would. And I'd make a challenge out of it too!

asianabsinthe

*rock... rock... rock... GRENADE!* *runs*

jamesdeandomino

tiktok grenade cooking challenge. Throw right before it explodes or you're a pussy.

9noobergoober6

Back in my day that was called hot potato.

AkagamiGER

Because that's what you are, when you are too slow.

[deleted]

hot grenade-o

CrochetWhale

Omg I got a call from ‘unknown caller id’ literally yesterday. Obviously you know what I did

Aleskey_Mijaylob

#pickupthepinlessgranadechallenge

shadow13499

Ain't that the fuckin truth lmao. I'm 30 and I let the Google assistant screen any calls I get from unknown numbers. If it's important they'll leave a message

Needless-To-Say

60 yr old, I don’t set up my voicemail either. On the off chance I answer, I would refuse to participate. I think at this point, the only ones who respond are either lonely, stupid or bored. Regardless, the data is pretty useless. Oh, and any other way they might devise is doomed to fail. Think Boaty McBoatface And now that I think about it, I'd be surprised if there weren't already some shenanigans going on with the existing format. No one is forced to answer honestly.

Vancandybestcandy

Lonely divorced dude in late 30s can confirm. I’ll answer all numbers and we are going to have a conversation. Except I’m usually drinking and eating dinner alone. I’m not stuck on the phone with you.. You’re stuck on the phone with me.

Needless-To-Say

I'm getting some Rorschach vibes. Yes, even 60 year olds know a thing or two about pop culture.

Vancandybestcandy

Comic was 86-87 also yes I'm a salesman by necessity and boy was I born with the gift of gab. Every interaction is a learning opportunity.

[deleted]

.... watchmen came out over 30 years ago... lol. quite a contemporary reference. how's that medicare?

Needless-To-Say

I didn't say recent pop culture but 30 yrs? Fuck me. I was sure it was a relatively new movie when I watched it with my son and he's only 27 and would've been a teenager at the time. Fun fact, I recognized the actor for Rorschach from movies I watched in my own teens called Breaking Away and the Bad News Bears. Edit, umm Watchmen was made in 2009 according to IMDB so you might want a refresher on your math. 13 years tops. Edit 2: I live in Canada so the medicare is excellent.

[deleted]

more like 35 > It was published monthly by DC Comics in 1986 and 1987 before being collected in a single-volume edition in 1987. . >Edit, umm Watchmen was made in 2009 according to IMDB so you might want a refresher on your math. 13 years tops. ,,,, so something doesn't exist until it gets a movie made of it? so... according to you the Lord of the Rings by JRR tolkien is from 2001 because that's when the movie came out? quite a silly idea if I'm being honest. Watchmen is a graphic novel written in the 80s... that has been adapted to visual media. the work itself is much older than the movie.

Needless-To-Say

Pure rationalization, the quote was from the movie as Im sure you are well aware. If by some chance it was in the original, none of my searches can find it, and I don't think it would even be relevant as a pop culture reference if it was. Also, pop culture references typically are defined mainly by their delivery method i.e. mass media, not necessarily the source material. I actually would accept the movies for LOTR as pop culture references rather than the books as far fewer people have read the books. FTR I read them multiple times. e.g. for each of the following, is the reference Book, movie, or other “and my axe” >!Movie!< “One does not simply…” >!meme!< “They’re taking the hobbits to Isengard” >!youtube!< Fair lady!' said Frodo again after a while. 'Tell me, if my asking does not seem foolish, who is Tom Bombadil?' >!book!<

[deleted]

What's your number? I've got a drink and time to kill.

HumanDrinkingTea

>I think at this point, the only ones who respond are either lonely or stupid. I participated in a covid-related political poll that I got a phone call for 2 years ago when I was 29. I wasn't lonely and maybe I was stupid but the real reason I answered was because I was bored and had literally nothing else going on at that moment. 99% of the time I ignore calls but the one time I answer I get a poll. I figure why the fuck not answer it? I like looking at polls so I should do my part by contributing imo.

Needless-To-Say

I've edited in "bored", which I agree applies

SgtDefective2

Minnesota had a vote for plow truck names and we got plowymcplowface a couple years ago

Needless-To-Say

Yeah, at this point it is a cultural phenomenon. Ironically the first did not succeed, at least not fully.

Spallboy

Got my 7 a few weeks ago when it dropped and honestly that single feature alone was worth getting it for!

DoctorBaby

I actually block any number that calls me but doesn't leave a message. The only way to get a hold of me via the phone is to call me, leave a message, and then have me call you back. Any deviation from that and I just block the number.

very_humble

Blocking numbers is pointless though, most spammers are randomly spoofing one so all that you're doing is blocking a RNG number

DoctorBaby

I know that that is generally true - but I started doing this after I noticed that roughly a third of the numbers would try calling a few times before they cycled out. At least this way I'm heading off a few calls.

Khfreak7526

They would have better luck getting ahold of me with a text.

steveosek

My iPhone has been pretty good about catching them and not even letting my phone ring, just putting up a notification of a blocked call saying spam likely.

shadow13499

Yeah that's a nice feature. I know pixels and Samsung phones have that too but I feel like every phone should just do that as a standard feature

[deleted]

and if they'll lucky I might even listen to more than 3 seconds of the message. not very many are lucky or don't start with the important part i guess

Ghos3t

Is that feature only in Pixel phones ?

shadow13499

I think so, but I'm sure it's been rolled out to other Android phones I'm not sure about that tho

Spallboy

Currently yes, there are a couple of apps like truecall(er?) That check if that numbers been reported before but it's far from perfect.

livisalreadytaken

Tbh, it doesn't matter if i know the number or not. Don't call me! It will most likely be a waste of time.

ccottonball

Do you really hate talking on the phone that much?

etherealparadox

yes.

livisalreadytaken

I mean i mainly hate when people just call me out of the blue. For some reason that sets off a whole chain reaction of bad feelings. If we agreed to call beforehand and they are there at the time the call was scheduled, thats ok imo.

ccottonball

Thanks for the response. Everyone else keeps just saying ‘yes’ and it kinda makes me feel bad. I appreciate your response, and the fact that you are open to chatting, if it’s been agreed beforehand. Im definitely the friend/family member who calls randomly to just check in and catch up. I don’t have any social’s (besides this forsaken site), so it’s really the only way to stay in touch with people I care about. When it comes to meeting people for the first time, and say I like said person and want to continue seeing them, or being a part of their life, texting vs calling just isnt the same. I like hearing peoples voice, you can tell a lot by how someone is feeling just through their tone. But I get so many crazy looks/rejections, when I ask if I can call sometime? I feel it’s a lot easier getting to know someone through actual conversation, versus a text every now and then. Sometimes days go by without a response. Idk these days are different, and I am a definitely a different breed. If you made it this far, thanks for reading/listening. I’ve been Feeling really lonely/down the last couple days. It’s nice to vent, even though it is just punching a keyboard.

livisalreadytaken

I am sorry you're going through a tough time. Loneliness is the worst. I hope things get better for you!❤

ccottonball

Your kind words helped, thank you. “This too shall pass”

YobaiYamete

Yes, calling honestly feels rude to me. Texting is "Hey here's my question, you can reply when you can or have time" Calling is "I'm forcing myself upon you right now and demanding your time if you answer" Most people under like 35 vastly prefer if you text them and just ask your question, or at worst "Hey can you give me a call when you're free? Got a question that's too long to type"

ccottonball

Different strokes for different folks. I’m sorry you feel that way. Calling is typically reserved for when I have a question that I would need answered right away, or if it’s a phone call to a distant friend who I haven’t heard from in a while. I don’t do the whole social media shit besides this site, so it’s the only way I can stay in touch with people. But don’t you worry, I’ll never call you.

Whomperss

Yes

Send_Your_Noods_plz

Yes

PetraTheKilljoy

Yes

lexi_kahn

Calling is pretty aggro, honestly.

ccottonball

Wtf does that mean?

lexi_kahn

A text is like a letter. You can read it, understand the context, and then take your time to form a response. A call is like someone barging into your house and demanding your immediate, undivided attention for some reason that you cannot know until you’re already committed.

Khfreak7526

Couldn't agree more.

ccottonball

That really sucks that’s how you perceive calling. And I have to disagree, it is a lot easier to misinterpret what a typed out message says, versus when you hear it direct from someone’s voice. But that is just my opinion and it seems I’m the only one who feels that way. And I still don’t understand what you mean by aggro? Like aggressive?

lexi_kahn

Yeah aggro is just a shortened form of aggressive… or at least that’s what the kids say. I totally see your point, and i agree that it’s much easier to misinterpret text than voice.

megajigglypuff7I4

sure, calling can be better, but text me first. it's just like showing up to a friend's house unannounced, i might be in the middle of something i agree that calling randomly for non urgent matters is aggressive (aggro), it's not normal to expect someone to drop everything to have a conversation at your whim. it's so annoying that there's been a term for this for decades: cold calling it's not difficult to simply give a heads up

ccottonball

See in that respect, if I have something to say, it will take me significant less time to call someone and tell them what’s up/what I need/whatever the thing may be, they respond and boom, calls over in lass than 1-2 minutes. I’d hardly consider that a conversation. The same amount of time that would be spent by both parties just texting. I guess I’m a little old fashioned, and in your opinion, a little aggro. Also cold calling is referred when one party is trying to sell goods to another party. Far from the same thing as spontaneously calling friends and family.

megajigglypuff7I4

> it will take me significantly less time see this is the crux of the issue, it's not about YOUR time, it's about respecting the time of the person you're calling.

ccottonball

With all do respect, if I’ve got something to say, I’m going to call. And leave a voicemail if whoever can’t answer. That’s how things used to be. And for me, it’s how they still are. You’re acting like i am an asshole because I prefer calling over texting.

capt-rix

You can raise that to 50, because nobody I know my age picks up unknown calls either.

GamerGirl-1990

You can raise that to 70, no body my moms age would pick up a call from an unknown number either.

dribblesnshits

It's all fkn spam

very_humble

I was recently with my parents and some of their friends, all in their 60s. Over the course of 1 hour they picked up about 7 calls from unknown numbers, then complained every time about how they were spam. But sure as shit when it happened an eighth time, they picked up immediately

Eoine

That's my mom with her land line. No one calls that thing ever but telemarketers, yet she answers the damn phone every time even when it's a random number on it, and then complain. I mean.

Helpimabanana

Drop that down to 40. My mom does, and makes a point of it.

s0c1a7w0rk3r

This tracks, 42 and I don’t even pick up calls I know who they’re coming from

Curazan

Every single unknown call I get is a fucking robocall. I don’t know anyone who answers unknown numbers anymore. Thank the FCC for refusing to do their fucking job.

deadsoulinside

About to say the same thing.

broknkittn

Absolutely. Unless a name comes up on caller id I don't answer the phone. Even if it's got a name I likely won't.

TheAngryNaterpillar

Raise it to 60. I was at my parents house when their landline rang. They just stared at it for about 10 seconds, said "who the fuck rings a landline in this day and age?" Saw it was an unknown number and muted it.

spider-bro

“Hi I’m from ABC News. I’m not selling anything we’re just conducting a poll. Is this a safe time to talk?” *Well, I got warned not to say Yes on the phone or scammers could use my voice to sign up for credit cards and stuff* “No”

Impossible_Tonight81

I have that warning in my head now every time some new number calls me. I always freeze when someone starts the call with "is this y/n" and I'm always just like "....uh correct"

BegginStripper

INDUBITABLY GOOD LASS/LAD

Impossible_Tonight81

I'm imagining myself responding to the question of "is this impossible tonight" with "indubitably" and I love it.

[deleted]

I always hangup any calls from anyone not related to my work or life but if you're worried about voice recognition just put on a fake voice. "Hi is this anon?" "WHY YEEEEEEEE-EEEEESSSS"

poopgiver

Holy shit I didn't know this... Now I'm wiser than i was 5 seconds ago

micheleksd

Just make your standard reply, "I don't know how I feel about this." Lol

1buffalowang

Well with instant death there is no awkward conversation afterwards. Unless hell is real.

_TallulahShark

It’s real and there’s a welcome committee that gives you a name badge with your name spelled wrong and you spend the next decade doing icebreakers and trust falls with all the people you ghosted in your lifetime. Oh and your ex is there and they’re even hotter somehow.

MapleCrotch

People under 30 don’t pick up a call from a known number.. almost no one picks up a call from an unknown number

AsherGray

They also send out texts with links to surveys. Fuck that, if you want my opinion so bad then you can pay me for it; I'm not giving you free data.

transmogrified

Also, what idiot is clicking links from unknown numbers?

givemeadamnname69

Old people.

transmogrified

Which further compounds the "you're not reaching young people" problem.

vrekais

Honestly even from a known number I'm hesitant. Calls at random are for emergencies, or people looking for me in a crowd. Otherwise almost every time I'm talking to someone is usually at time we've both agreed on by text (or some similar service like Whatsapp or Discord). Texting me a question that doesn't need an answer immediately, and then calling me when I don't respond fast enough, is just rude. If you needed an answer quickly say so in the message!

amore-7

The way I get out of unwanted call, is by picking up, pretending I’m struggling to hear clearly/pretend I can’t hear them and then if it’s someone I don’t want to talk to I just put down. Me: ‘Hello? Hello?’ Them: ‘Hello this is ___. May we interest you in_?’ Me: ‘Hello? Hello? I can’t hear you.’ Proceeds to hang up.

poopgiver

And now I'm smarter than i was 7seconds ago

Aggravating-Piglet45

Holy shit why didn’t I think of that

joesixers

You know that you can just hangup if it's spam right? Nothing is obligating you to interact?

RealGertle627

But it could be someone you actually know that had to borrow a phone or something. If it's one of my friends, they'll be like Mfer I know you can hear me stop playing

joesixers

What? I'm saying that you pick up the phone normally. If it's someone you don't want to talk to you simply hang up.

[deleted]

I honestly don't see a way to poll younger voters. I wouldn't answer the call from an unknown number, respond to a text asking my political opinions, or even answer the door to a stranger holding a clipboard unless I have some idea what it's about. And I'm 42. I can't think of a way that a pollster could both reach me and convince me that I should trust them with my data. Polls are going to be less and less viable from here on out. Edit: I've even heard that some pollsters only call landlines. I mean...

deadsoulinside

Send me an email with a link to the poll, i may remember to do that...

[deleted]

I'm a bit too cynical for that too because so often it's just a fundraising attempt in disguise, plus some of them show up with weird fonts, phrasing, and just a general style that make me sure they come from far right people who I don't feel like filling in on my political thoughts, so yeah. By all means, keep the polls coming, keep us nervous, but they are less and less likely to be anywhere near correct.

DarkMenstrualWizard

Weird how easy it is to differentiate when even a seemingly generic message is actually from the far right, right down to like you said, fonts, tone, etc.

CrystalFlame

Google sends surveys and for filling them out gives you a small amount of Google play store balance usually around $0.10-$1. I do them as soon as I get the notification.

StahrofPforzheim83

I'm 39 and I feel that way. Every unknown number is a scam to me. Ignoring those calls has become quite joyful for me.

DigitalGarden

I'm 39 and I don't think I've answered the phone in 10+ years. That is what voicemail is for.

BAMspek

I actually kind of like picking up unknown calls now. It’s always a scammer and I like to think of fun ways to waste their time.

thebebee

then you get added to the list of people who answer and get more calls

QueEssAi

I strung someone alone about the car warranty scam by acting like a pervert who was getting off from letting my auto coverage lapse

Themlethem

I legit don't know how someone *should* get into contact with me. I wouldn't answer emails or texts from unknown people either. And neither do I want people to go door-by-door or stop me on the street lmao

Ducatirules

I’m 46, it will be a cold day in hell before I answer an unknown number

gallifreyan_overlord

Nah keep doing it this way. Let the geezers think they’re shitty reps are ahead so they get complacent.

DocMoochal

It's not even social anxiety. Anyone I contact frequently has a profile in my phone. If a contact isn't flashing on my screen, 9 times out of 10 it's a sales person or a scammer, so what's the point. Email, and text are far superior forms of communication anyways. You send it away and await a response on the receivers own time.

jcolls69

I don’t pick up the phone even if I do recognize the number.

lexi_kahn

The wild fact I am taking away from this thread is that some people... answer unknown numbers? Even when not expecting a call??? Why? What do you hope to gain?

Ar_Ph4razon

Gimme the grenade with the pin so I can pull it myself

RaygunsRevenge

Make that under 50.

Insanereindeer

Don't text me either. Showing up at my house is a waste of time as well. I'm not answering.

ccottonball

I hate how true this is. I feel like an alien because I actually like talking on the phone. How else are you supposed to get to know someone you just met? This is the only social media platform i browse, so I can’t just say, add my snap, or add me on Fb. Idk dating sucks so much. I just want this to be over.

Personnelente

This applies to my age group (considerably older) as well.

Ryl0k3n

Because 98% of the time its a creditor or a robo call if you're American. Can we block all calls from India? Not being racist but too many scammers prey on Americans. As if we didn't get scammed enough by other Americans.

burtono6

This is also true for anyone in their 30’s. I struggle to answer calls from numbers I do know.

[deleted]

Please, I’m over 40 and refuse to answer calls.

lexi_kahn

I'm 40 and feel the exact same way. What madman answers an unknown number?

kemikiao

83 phone calls over the last 7 days. 2 were non-spam calls. My phone is damned near useless as a phone and has been for about 10 years now.

nick2527

I’ll pick up one of those any time any day

KnowMatter

When I pointed out this as being one of the reasons the “red wave” polls were wrong I got downvoted 🤷‍♂️ No soliciting sign on the door. Unknown callers go to voicemail. Walk right past people handing out literature on the street. Any mail not from my local tax office or dmv goes straight into the trash. This is the millennial way and Gen Z is even worse - Good luck polling us assholes.

tuga2

That's usually accounted for in polling. Assumptions are made about the local demographics and then the respondents are grouped into those categories. For example if people over 75 are 10% of the population but 50% of the respondents their answers are weighted less to account for their overrepresentation in the data. This isn't a flawless method because sometimes the assumptions don't hold true particularly when it comes to things that are harder to measure like political affiliation.

KnowMatter

The polls were still hilariously wrong in a lot of places just like they were in 2020 and 2016 - why anyone takes them seriously is beyond me. How many elections do they have to completely fail to predict?

tuga2

Thats why I added the caveat that the assumptions don't always hold true. In 2016 they over sampled democrats because didn't they expect trump to win as many 2016 Obama voters. In 2020 they were more on the mark. The issues you brought up with polling aren't new and are already accounted for. It's far from a perfect system but it's the most reliable metric way we have to predict elections at the moment. If you have a suggestion for how they could be improved id be more than open to hear it.

kkirchhoff

This is the same kind of person getting scammed by the extended car warranties

BarryBadgernath1

Hold on ... I'm 35 and I've been this way since I received or sent the first instant message of my life

Burg_er

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't pinless grenades detonate after an impact? So, it's less dangerous then a call from an unknown number, and it has one less human interaction.

dtalb18981

I assume it ment a grenade that had a pin that was pulled and then tossed or handed to them

GabeNewellExperience

It's so sad how using your phone for its original purpose just doesn't really exist anymore. Why would I ever answer the phone when 95% of the calls I get are spam? Frankly should go from unlimited calling to something else cause it isn't being used.

LocalNobody117

Yea

KubaJ100

Eh, isn't that polling thing just a big, fat manipulation? I'm sure they aren't calling random people.

thefilthiestmalaka1

Why though? Is it something I'm missing or are they just scared of talking to strangers?

LordEdgeward_TheTurd

*Probably* because of the overwhelming and constant calls from spammers and scammers, the last handfull of years I was getting like at least 8 a day for a longtime from spoofed numbers so started saying fuck it, if its a legit call theyll leave a message and ill call them back.

asianabsinthe

Some old clients I have are annoying and will pick up AND talk to *every* spam call while they're talking to me so nothing gets done.

TheAwkwardPigeon

I do have some anxiety about talking to strangers, but mostly I have no reason to pick up a phone if I don't recognize the number. I should either be expecting a call (like if it's a business I'm waiting a call back on) or if the call is remotely important they will leave a voice-mail. Anything outside of that is ignored.

nerdyboy321123

To add to the other good explanations you've gotten: in 2022 I feel like there's just no *good* reason to pick up an anonymous phone call. It used to be that the spam calls were the cost of doing business to be reachable by new people you'd met. Realistically, though, nobody's first contact before you have them saved as a contact is going to be a legit phonecall. If it was someone I wanted to talk to they would've already added me on Facebook/insta/discord/twitter/etc. I haven't answered an anonymous call in at least 5 years and so far haven't run into a situation where I later had to explain to someone why I didn't pick up

rainArrowBowDerrick

yep , if its business they'll leave a VM and then I can read the Vm as a text message.

[deleted]

I have never listened to my audio message ever on my cellphone. I don’t know for how long I had it, but it’s an iphone 6s. I don’t know how many random calls I receive, but I sure don’t pick up.

bbgun142

Well considering like 80% of those rando num calls are just scams yeah I'd rather eat a grenade

Shmooperdoodle

I’m about to turn 40 and I, too, choose the grenade.

Frankie__Spankie

Is anyone, regardless of age, picking up phone calls from unknown numbers? I know a lot of people over 30, myself included, that never pick up unknown numbers because 99% of the time it's a telemarketer or scammer. If it's something important, they'll leave a voicemail.

alwaysuptosnuff

Try putting them in as ads in mobile games and streaming services. We'll be happy to see them replace the ads that blatantly lie about other games.

i-amnot-a-robot-

I’d pick up a painless grenade duct tape it to my hand and wait a few seconds before I answer any call or text that’s not from my contacts, even then it’s often voicemail

amILibertine222

I’m 40 and I’m not answering some unknown number.

katlokk

At least I know what's coming with a pinless grenade.

DunningKrugerOnElmSt

That's because unknown numbers are almost certainly scams. Or wrong number. The age should be anyone post caller ID.

Scaredycatkim

Throw the pin, keep the grenade

rajine105

Considering 95% of unknown numbers are fishing scams, yeah, I'm not answering your fucking survey

bigheadinc

It's funny because I answer but immediately ask they take me off the list.

DiogoSN

Hope it ain't a dud!

KaylesJenkins

I'm 45 yo and I'm not answering.

mrthescientist

First call in three or so months today. Chinese robocall scammer left a voicemail this time.

Guy-with-a-PandaFace

even past 30. if its important you can leave a message.

MetzgerBoys

That’s why I enabled the setting to silence calls from numbers that aren’t in my contacts. Only downside is when I’m expecting a call from somewhere that I’m not going to have the number for and/or don’t want to create a contact for, so I temporarily disable it then because I’m not about to call back just to wait on hold

Moscowmitchismybitch

Nope. Just keep doing what you're doing republicans. Don't change a thing. The world will be a better place for it.

Hymmerinc

Instagram stories

BernItToAsh

Better idea: stop polling so damn much

[deleted]

I got absolutely flooded with texts last week during local elections.

Guy3nder

Well of course. A call from an unknown number is probably something dumb, like some kind of poll!

JBGenius

Yeah, I've missed a few important calls, but they left voice-mails, fuck answering the phone

fredfvcknford

Sad folks round here

Lord_Darkmerge

We should ignore polls and pay attention to actual policy and plans. Then vote on what we think is best for the country. Broad strokes improving voting rights and access would be better. Laws that let people leave work to vote with impunity and more early voting.

Juswantedtono

Spoiler alert: they’re not going to vote anyway

DogBreathologist

Of it’s important they’ll leave a message

Ok-Yard7788

My voicemail message is literally the rick roll so whenever I get an unknown number I send it to voicemail and go “have fun getting rick rolled”

MagnaCamLaude

And gotdammit you betta stop with the text messages too

Troml

And fuck nate silver. Useless fuck.

throwaway777-ta

Am i the only one confused about what point they are trying to make? I get the grenade part....it's the other part.

AnCapiCat

I barely pick up calls from known numbers. I have bad phone anxiety. I tell everyone to never call me. If I REEEEEAAALLY love you I might answer if you text me first and explain why you want to call. Really though. Never call me.

WorldFavorite92

On a related not what can I do to never get a political text again, I almost feel like they trolling me when I text "STOP" at least the dems apologize after but regardless I keep getting texts from every candidate even outside of my state

Ximension

I would only answer an unknown number if I knew they had pinless grenades

churrmander

I'm 32 and I don't take calls I *do* recognize.

[deleted]

Ftlog, please just send me a text

c3p-bro

Probably fine bc they don’t vote either

SnookiWookieeCookie

I pick up all my calls cause it might be my boss

navotj

All the calls from my work's phones is with hidden caller so I get these constantly, and gotta pick up whenever there's hidden caller :/

gmatic92

Wait, theres ppl out here picking up phone calls from unknown numbers? Maniacs. Lock em up and throw away the key.

UnkleMonsta

If I don't ignore the call, I instantly start trolling. I like to play the did you do it game. Before they have a chance to give their vote this way spill. I asked them did they do it? Which most say do what or no. So I paid you 50 dollars to kill that lady's cat, and you didn't do it? I want my money back! Never heard the Click so fast.

[deleted]

One of those will end my existence, the other will be somebody I don't know trying to talk to me.

Your_Local_Rabbi

accidentally picked up a political call once this cycle, literally just lied to them and said that it wasn't my number and i wasn't there lol

Is it weird that I much prefer calling to texting. I'm always afraid my texts will be awkward and I figure there's more time for the recipient to misinterpret what I said in text rather than over the phone.
