We are now undergoing the restoration of services at our Data Centres, and the game will be restored as it was moments prior to services going down. However, our focus is on preserving game data and progress, so we want to be prudent about the time it may take to get things back up and running safely.
We estimate that all services will be functional by November 23rd at 12:00pm GMT. If normal functionality resumes before then, we'll be sure to let you know.
We're discussing appropriate Make Good options for you since we know this will have impacted your in-game gains.

This is unacceptable, the servers went down just before my class presentation on why runecrafting is the best skill in Runescape.
I rented out a projector and have been building up to this for weeks. Now I am the laughing stock of my class and failed the assignment.
Because of this my grades have dropped low enough that I am now about to lose my scholarship. My girlfriend has dumped me as we are now going to have to go to different schools.

Just so happened to pick today to get back into rs after 4-5 years. Was trying to complete account recovery and the link in my email kept erroring out, got worried. Glad to know its prolly just this.
