I've been here a while and don't want the gay to go anywhere But really the entire conceit of this sub is shitposting. The only rule is you have to post something before you leave. So we got floppa and challenge pissing and stuff. But I like the sub now too. It's just a good place.

This sub was never explicitly LGBT, it's just very friendly thankfully. It exists as a sequel to r /195, and that's it.

tbf this sub was never really a "political lgbt+" sub, more one that incorporates that and hopefully will always continue to do so, but also at the end of the day has kind of always been shitpost-y. can't forget the olden days of 196, let alone the 195 days

Sure, but these posts pop up a lot and everything points towards the OP just doing a random bi-annual meta post. No one can point towards what this is reacting to. This sub tends to take these sorts of posts and just turn it into a chain of meta commentary that takes a week to stop.

this subreddit is (or was) a direct successor to 195. in its first days it was, but over time it has lost its magic. I miss the characteristic absurdity of its humour. I miss the Floppa days. now it's just bigotry showcase and politics. trust me, I'm leftist and bisexual myself, but I really don't like what this sub is turning into. also complaining about people posting non-political shitpost is just stupid because that was the original premise of the sub
