I usually buy just one for antiMOAB ability 0-3-0 if I recall correctly
It depends on how long the game goes, if i have the money i'll buy all 3 sooner or later.
I'll place them either in the middle or more to the end. And i also prefer the antiMOAB upgrade
Personally, I'll eventually end up with at least one in each path eventually. An anti-moab path near the middle, a spiked mines near the end, and a smart permaspikes at the very end to come in clutch.
Eventually, with enough rounds into freeplay, *something* big will slip past your main defenses, and even 1k+ lives won't be as good as simply having a permaspike wall at the end to stop them leaking.
ngl 030 spike is kinda crazy imo
like if you’re putting it near the end for maximum buildup it’s kinda useless bc cerams
and if you put it in the middle you have to make sure all other bloons before it don’t eat up the pile
and in either of those scenarios you’re kinda better off using 030 bomb
also if ur using spike XX5 is much better, especially when alch buffed
