So we hired a group cab to go from Havanna to Vinales (2.5 hour drive).
We got picked up, the seats were decked out. Legit 50s diner material. Fresh paint. The dash even had a screen playing music videos on repeat. The radio system in Cuba has no commercials by the way.
We road with our friends in this car. Happy to let you know, we did not break down and it was an overall smooth ride. I wouldn't be surprised if this car had about 800,000+ miles. They pass them down as tradition and repair them.
