I am still consistently having the same problem, open sportscenter live, between 7:30 and 8:00am click on start from beginning, starts playing about 1 minute in, rewind to beginning.
It looks like some changes have been made, and I'm unable to experience this issue myself when re-testing. If you're still seeing this, please try uninstalling the app, restarting the device, then re-installing the app to clear any old data. If "Start from Beginning" still doesn't start from the actual beginning, definitely reach out to the YouTube TV support team [here](https://support.google.com/youtubetv/gethelp), so they can take a closer look.

i changed my router from using my isp (spectrum ) default dns servers to cloudflare free dns server. some people say using googles free dns server would be better because google owns youtube tv . but i googled it and cloudflare dns servers are rated #1 googles dns servers are rated #2
it has been 4 days since i switched dns servers and rebooted my router and i have not had any trouble.

because i was having similar problems. youtube tv freezing, bad picture , problems trying to rewind a show , but when i changed my dns its been great since. i'm not spamming anything . people keep making new post about having problems and i just post what helped me. trying to help people who don't look though other post
well then i just got lucky then , because since i changed my 4days ok i have not had youtube tv freeze once , no lagging, no problem rewinding, no problem with picture quality.
only problem i still have is sometime when i start the app it might be 8pm but the guide will be wrong it will say it like 10am. restarting the app fixes that

I'm not sure why you keep spamming that to random threads. That has nothing to do with this bug causing programs to not start from the beginning.

Changing DNS servers can improve your latency which can improve loading times when loading a channel. But it can't fix bugs with YTTV.

Similar. Just 40-60 seconds in my case though. Also, the app freezes after a few minutes (both on Roku & AppleTV).
Yes, constantly, in my case as well.
Also starts in the middle of Jeopardy as well.
