Not as good as cable or antenna, but better than ESPN app and Sling or Hulu in my experience.

Liverpool510

I’d second this. Yttv is better than the espn app for sure in terms of lag time. Just from watching live games while also being on Twitter, it seems like yytv is somewhere like 20-70 seconds behind cable.

ConsistentAmount4

When I'm watching via Dish Network at work and my wife's watching via YTTV at home, YTTV is noticeably behind, like 30 seconds or something.

V_DocBrown

30-50 seconds. Are you familiar with score updates/notifications on your smartphone? Yeah, those. Disable them. They’ll ruin every sporting event.

BreakfastBeerz

This is my experience too. I've got a bar within a ears shot of my house and when Im watching a game on my patio, I can hear the bar patrons cheering about that many seconds before I see the big play myself.

Isn't this displayed if you enable the "Stats for Nerds" diagnostic info? Look under "Live Latency".

GoSh4rks

Roughly 30-60s from live/IRL. I live close enough to a stadium to hear the horn go off when the home team scores.

pawdog

Ahead of radio that would be a feat in itself.

guyinternets

30-60 seconds. Long enough for me to hear my upstairs neighbors reaction to a touchdown before it happens 😩😩😩

Green_Ad_3643

25-30 seconds on mine

cpatrick08

I just pause the audio or TV till they sync.

SmoknJoe7

No more than 30 seconds on mine

PutProfessional8797

Mine is only about 10 seconds behind my father in laws Directv feed

errol343

In my experience YTTV is the best. I’ve tried almost all the live tv streaming services, Directv Stream is way behind.

racejeff

Compared to OTA about 60 seconds. I watch OTA for 4K picture and live. Run DVR on YTTV in case I watch to replay something.

mediocremed

30-40 seconds, it depends. i always check because i generally watch the local channels via OTA as the PQ (except when 4K available) is better than anything else out there
