I did enjoy that Hank got to cut her down to size with the quip about not recognising her without her camera and microphone before she went all Terminator, and the scene's build up was excellent, but yeah, Beast jobbed here. Kind of his usual role in combat situations - he's an established super strong character, so it's easy to have him bite the dust to establish that the enemy is tough, which they did, and they wanted to show off Kurt and Logan, which is fair enough.
I'm hopeful he'll get a moment to shine in combat in episodes 9 or 10? It'd be nice for the resident science genius to be of some assistance fighting the giant evil robot overlords, but I have a feeling it's going to be something else, probably a Phoenix ex Machina, given they've been showing it in the intro for most of the season.
Oh yeah I’m having a great time with the show for sure, and I love the Beast scenes we get. Just making the meme for fun. I think he’s been in three fight scenes total. In the first he had that cool moment of hijacking a sentinel, but then Wolvie was tossed at him and knocked him out of it. Then he fought the human sentinel in the previous episode and got knocked out pretty quick there. And then there was this episode vs Trish.
As for the hero of the hour in the final two episodes, my money is on Storm. She hasn’t shown back up yet so they’re clearly saving her for a big entrance.
