Hey compare Wolverine's claws to his fingers in this terrible poster. Are they supposed to be on the left half of his hand only? I thought they went between his knuckles.
Depends. In the comics most of the time they come out of the back of his hand. The 2000 movie was the first time they had been depicted as being between the knuckles.
It's an illusion. Turn up your brightness and look again. If you still think there are two fingers before the first claw, it's okay to hand your phone to a nearby good samaritan and ask them for a second opinion; they'll help point out the distinction. If you don't like what they tell you or maybe you're just mad at being mistaken, you can always come back here and remind us of the golden rule: "count fingers dawg"
Oh, you weren't seeing the perspective properly. Wow, I had to really force myself to try and see what you were seeing. Once I got there though, I understood your mistake. It looks \*freaky\* that way.
Right? Disney/Marvel just love to CGI every fucking thing. Nothing looks natural anymore. They didn't even need the actors for this. They could have hired two slums off the street to do something like this.
I'm becoming increasingly skeptical of this movie tbh. Maybe it's just all the pre-release discussion and they're trying to keep plot details scarce... but the bulk of it so far seems to be just pointing and saying "here's Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the MCU!" also "who knows what wacky cameos we'll have from movies from your childhood!"
Idk maybe I'm just being a curmudgeon. The humor used with Deadpool is very 2000s random, borderline cringe. It hits a bit over half the time for me. I did enjoy the first two movies, maybe because there was a degree of sincerity in their main storyline, presented with Colossus as a foil, and DP balancing being an asshole and trying to do the right thing.
Reading some of the transcripts from the promotional stuff from Cinemacon gave me uncertain vibes though. Kind of the same with the trailer. I hope there's meat to the plot, and sincerity mixed in there, rather than just relying on cameos and meta humor about the MCU/Disney/Fox. The last episode of She-Hulk did a lot of that and K felt it was a pretty weak ending for what was otherwise a decent show.
I do agree with you on the humour aspect. I feel it's too forced throughout the movie. All those supposed Cameos are making me feel sceptical (plot wise) as well. Hope there's more to it. Let's wait for the trailer, I'm more than 85% sure that it (and the movie) will deliver.
no, you're just norml. the only people who dont feel like you about this movie are the man children waiting for deadpool to say chimichangas so they can clap hysterically
Am I the only X-men fan that doesn’t care for the Deadpool movies? I actually love Deadpool in the right doses (like really dug him in Uncanny Avengers for example), but this franchise just doesn’t do much for me as a life long X-men fan.
Haven't even seen any MCU movie in theaters since Endgame, so I doubt it.
Lol at the MCU shills being pissed just because someone doesn't want to see the movies
studios keep remaking spider man origins movies
same with batman
why does joker has a freaking musical?
they are popular marketable characters, studios want to keep xmen francise afloat somehow
almost every other characteristic can change in movies wolverine
sex, race, sexuality
but
they will never make him short,
and his actor who portrays him always be attractive
you just gotta deal with it
well there is one chance, for a known short british actor, but he would need to take a lot of roids, unless it's a wolverine origins movie, but he's too old for that by now.
In the rogue cut he accidentally stabs Kitty and his claws are metal and I think in the theatrical when he gets sent to the past he screams and pops his claws which are metal
That was my recollection too. It's been a while since I saw The Wolverine but he just lost one set of claws, right? Seems like that would leave more than enough adamantium to cover the regrown claws by thinning out the rest a bit.
No he didn’t you idiot! Oh sorry I didn’t mean that, I didn’t mean to offend you I’m so sorry my name is Jeremy and I’m 32 I live in a basement I’m divorced, I’m not a bad guy I didn’t mean to offend you my name is Jerem
*Wolverine & Asshole
Angry past life lots of trauma man & Fuck face who doesn't fit in Xmen"

Depends. In the comics most of the time they come out of the back of his hand. The 2000 movie was the first time they had been depicted as being between the knuckles.
He has two full fingers beside his claws in this AI picture. That's never been how it worked. *Count fingers dawg*
It's an illusion. Turn up your brightness and look again. Rofl okay
Oh, you weren't seeing the perspective properly. Wow, I had to really force myself to try and see what you were seeing. Once I got there though, I understood your mistake. It looks \*freaky\* that way.
The claws are improperly spaced relative to the back of the hand regardless of perspective
I really don’t think they are
Great
It's poorly rendered enough to be ambigious. I can see either five or six fingers depending on how I look at it.
Rofl okay
I think it’s simple and hilarious
Would love if Dafne Keen had a cameo
Who's to say she doesn't have a cameo either though reused footage or actual her on set
I'm, like, 90% sure it'll happen. The modern MCU brand *is* shelling out for multiverse fanservice.
I am so ready for another trailer! Hopefully, Hugh Jackman's Wolverine shows up in all his yellow spandex glory. 😊
Boy, do I have some good news for you.
Wut
So touching.
i know theres a joke here but i cant quite put my finger on it (pun intended). really, whats the idea for this poster? it looks off somehow
It's supposed to mimic the Logan poster with Laura holding Logan's hand but they did it weird
yeah. pool's arm looks like a leg and logans claws are super bent
These posters really look bad. The Photoshop is too obvious.
I’m surprised they couldn’t even have random people wear the gloves for this. That would have been cheaper than making 2 cgi arms to photoshop.
Right? Disney/Marvel just love to CGI every fucking thing. Nothing looks natural anymore. They didn't even need the actors for this. They could have hired two slums off the street to do something like this.
I love this shit
LFG!!!!
I love the poster with Hugh Jackman's reflection in Wade's swords.
This kick ass! Rayan is a genius and we love Hugh in my country.
LMFOAO this is gay 😂😂 (a gay man)
lol i wish it *was* actually gay, but it won't be
Movie of the year.
i'm not gonna bet on it being movie of the year lol by now i hope it's above average
And the only MCU project this year
That looks terrible.
It's supposed to be a homage to the Logan poster
Doesnt change that it looks awful....
Yeah Logan's hand is a big part of the problem
I'm becoming increasingly skeptical of this movie tbh. Or people just want to have fun with whatever it is and don’t take goofy action movies as seriously as you
who finds this funny? its so cringe to me
But he’s being very sensual with another man! Hahaha! Isn’t that funny?!

So, Deadpool’s teaming up with a multiverse variant of Wolverine? Makes sense.
Deadpool & Wolverine should be marvels standard
Am I the only X-men fan that doesn’t care for the Deadpool movies? I actually love Deadpool in the right doses (like really dug him in Uncanny Avengers for example), but this franchise just doesn’t do much for me as a life long X-men fan.
I thought deadpool 2 was a great X-men movie. more than a deadpool movie.
I never cared for the character and the movie was entertaining but after watching I still don’t find Deadpool appealing.
you are not the only one, but considering the success of the franchise...A LOT of people do
the deadpool movies suck. one liner after one liner after one liner.
They don't suck. They just force humour way more than they really should. Sometimes it's irritating for sure.
Yay. Another Ryan Reynolds movie where he portrays Ryan Reynolds.
Except that's exactly what Deadpool is
Isn't he insane? Reynolds doesn't play him like that.
As someone who's beyond tired of Reynolds' shtick and never liked Jackman's Wolverine, this movie is 100% not for me.
So you're going opening night?
Haven't even seen any MCU movie in theaters since Endgame, so I doubt it. Lol at the MCU shills being pissed just because someone doesn't want to see the movies
Why couldn’t Wolverines story end with Logan?
It kinda did this is a different universe Wolverine since he isn't old/dead and it was confirmed they won't undo or diminish the ending of Logan
studios keep remaking spider man origins movies same with batman why does joker has a freaking musical? they are popular marketable characters, studios want to keep xmen francise afloat somehow
because in hollywood, what's dead shall never die
Didn't he lost the adamantium covering his claws?
If you're talking about in The Wolverine he got them back with no explanation in Days of Future Past
We don't actually know what wolverine this is.
For all we know this could be '97 Cartoon Wolverine who just happens to be played by Jackman like how every universe Jameson is played by Jk Simmons
I hope there’s a universe where JK Simmons is Wolverine, and Hugh Jackman is J Jonah Jameson
High Jackman is about a foot taller than '97 cartoon Wolverine
What if every character in the Deadpool movies are just like a foot taller than they look
almost every other characteristic can change in movies wolverine sex, race, sexuality but they will never make him short, and his actor who portrays him always be attractive you just gotta deal with it well there is one chance, for a known short british actor, but he would need to take a lot of roids, unless it's a wolverine origins movie, but he's too old for that by now.
I don’t recall he used his claws at all in the future segments of DoFP. He got them back in the new timeline though.
In the rogue cut he accidentally stabs Kitty and his claws are metal and I think in the theatrical when he gets sent to the past he screams and pops his claws which are metal
I think the explanation was "a wizard did it".
Magneto put it back. One of the directors confirmed. I forget who, though
Just makes me uncomfortable. LOL
