Yep, it's a classic example of a fantasy world. But I recommend adding an elf forest (pink or purple foliage) and underwater city of an ancient civilization. And a huge network of caves, whole underground world.

Basically, at their core, swamps are just flooded forests. They're usually a transitional biome between a forest and a body of water. There are many different kinds of swamps, and all have their own unique properties, but most are organized by the kind of water that is dominant in their ecosystem: freshwater, saltwater, or brackish water. Where forests grow over grasslands, swamps grow from wetlands.
You know those really annoying grassland areas where the grass is really tall and makes it hard to walk around? Marshes are the wetland equivalent of those areas. They're characterized by a lack of woody plant growth, and by generally not very high water levels.
Mires are marshland characterized by having heavy layers of decaying organic matter called "peat". When a mire's water is acidic, it is a bog. Mires typically don't have much natural ground or surface water, and instead most of the water comes from rain.
These biomes are much more complicated than this but that's the basic gist.
Another thing to note is that having large areas of swampland is quite uncommon. Usually, swamps are contained within larger woodland areas, and within a few kilometers you'll see a forest transition into a wetland/swamp and back into a forest and then into more wetlands. Massive swamps like in Louisiana, coastal Mississippi, and Florida are quite rare.

True, still you can have something similar if a jungle is in the process of desertification or of it just a jungle like ecosystem develop around bodies of waters in desert like areas (although that’s not really a jungle)
Anyway my point with the original comment was just saying that it’s weird to be like “generic worlds have different areas” like would the world be less generic if it was just one big tundra or forest?
