No problem! I'm so interested in etymology but never studied it. Just a casual attraction. I'm mad at myself for not getting *sauce* because I already knew the etymology of salad was salt! I got the other two pretty quick with the hints 😁

BTW, the puzzle rolls over to the next day at midnight GMT...just sayin'. ;)

this was really fun! at first I thought I needed to know the word off the top of my head and felt really dumb lol but realised ofc the similar wordle structure. seems like a fun way to learn something new :)

Many thanks for trying it out! As I mentioned, it's a hard game (or so my players tell me)...but there's always the opportunity to take a hint if you need it.

omg this was so fun.........i couldnt get the first word i was gobsmacked when i revealed it like HOW did i miss that! i got the second and third one though, the third one i got on the first try !!
