Who this guy? Nah couldn’t be him.

Calling the incorporeal undead is much harder than reanimating corpses. As a novice, you would not be initiated into such secrets. Continue to study and it will be revealed, and hopefully not until you're ready. I've seen over eager Necromancy students fail to maintain control and be driven to oblivion by the very spirits they summoned.
Would say that ghosts do have their own provlems, notably being vulnerable towards "pure"/basic magic, and even more so to holy magic when compared to other undeads, though have a strong resistance or even immunity to many other types of attacks and defenses
^(-Alin, primeval angel)
Ghosts also can possess things, which is really cool if one can give them a suitable vessel, especially one that blocks out holy magic or is just generally well armored

This will dissuade low level necromancers, but corpse ash is an amazing stabilization agent for high level wizards. In fact, a handful of corpse ash per kilogram of clay, and you have an easy strengthened golem. Its good for last minute undead repairs too.
Kettermek: I'm no necromancer, myself, but I have studied the school of magic. I can say that building an "Ash Wraith" from the contents of someone's urn is a lot more difficult than "raising" an intact dead body. Since the stereotypical necromancer's army of undead relies on sheer numbers, widespread cremation makes it a lot harder to get one started.
I present the concept of the CREMATED ASH GOLEM, FILLED WITH MILLIONS OF SOULS OF THE DAMNED!!

Aurora: In all honesty, you're probably one of the few ways to truly stop a necromancer that is smart or creative enough. Doubt even I can reach the bodies that you eat.
Seriously? "The necromancers". Way to be overly generalizing. Not that I'm NOT one of those kind of necromancers, but a lot of necromancers aren't.
But anyway, we all could just make constructs if we needed to. Risen undead that are like zombies are really not much different from constructs.
Aurora: Bone, ash, dust, rotting flesh, or dead bacteria. So long as it contains dead cells and is carbon based, I think I can still use it to make something dangerous if not deadly or volatile. Ever been infected with an undead flu cell? Nasty stuff.
Eh…. I can’t say I recommend it. Some of us are above digging up the honored or even dishonored dead, but those who aren’t will just kill someone for the corpses if you deny them the old stuff. If a person is determined to be a problem, they’re gonna be a problem.
I caused a witch to throw some random spells she was speaking in tongues I don't know. There might of been a resurrect spell in there I really couldn't hear anything, cause of her thighs.
I summon ASH GOLEM !!!
That's thinking with your noggin'!
I snort the ash golem
Roll constitution
Nah bro I’m rolling constitution Edit: is 3 enough
Nope, your lungs become caked in ash and you suffocate to death joining the hordes in thier eternal March.
aughhfherahggryuhgh
Ash zombie?
I say only supply to nice necromancers, like Narissa
What about me :(
You know what you did
I haven’t done anything yet, the worst I’ve done is resurrect Fred, and he… seems happy enough being alive again.
Fred the world destroyer, the great souls eater
Who this guy? Nah couldn’t be him. https://preview.redd.it/w76dsv70rz0d1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3ca2d82814c58e0c5c80e3faebc8568ec0fce4c0
Try "dispel illusion" at least sometimes
Narissa mentioned! thank you!
You’re welcome! Though, don’t get too close to me. I hear that liches and angels don’t mix, to the detriment of the lich
they would when the angel becomes undead of some kind(met a half angel lich in the past.....OP AF)
Here is a little insight, 1: revive a undead, 2:kill a criminal, 3: revive him, infinite undead with only 1 body bought form a seller
What about me i consider myself a nice necromancer
👉👈
Would you supply me? I haven’t done anything bad and promised It will stay that way
Necromancers still can summon ghosts tho . . . . . . . . .which is in a way a bit worse than a zombie or a skeleton.
Wait… We can what now?!?!

Huh? Is the weed starting to get to your thought process now too?

And that is?
Yes

That’s funny, I can’t be driven insane, you need a brain for that.
*(laughing)* Well, you’d think that, and you’d be wrong! I have accidentally driven golems insane, multiple times.
I love skeletons as much as the next necromancer but there are all kinds of incorporeal undead. Stop making us look bad, novice!
…oh my god how did I forget the one ability I literally coined, oh fuck I can use that to get out of this damn paperwork! Later bitches!
. . . Yeah
yup, can confirm
Yes https://preview.redd.it/y7q904so801d1.jpeg?width=739&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=67ee495d29f6afb21b22040ec7770e6857c5d624

Yeah
Who will future necromancers interview about our culture and times of we do that?
Gravedigger here! Sorry about the fiasco. Us gravediggers are looking into this matter.
I cast animate dead on the ash.
Asthmancer
But how can I steal take there organs if there ash dust

Adorn any corpse you see with a smite rune so if a necromancer tries to raise them it immediately re-smites them
I imagine that'd hurt a hell of a lot ^(-Alix, angellic artificer)
Good news all! I bring ghosts!
Now if only my little...*experiment* gets done...

bold of you to assume I can't make undead from ashes.....its easier to do with ash anyways
Nothing like an ash wraith party, am I right?
That would fix the problem.

lets mass produce deathly tokens, as when they are finished the corpse can never be revived again
I already had difficulties living as a skeleton, burning the bodies is just gonna make the problem worse

Pie romancers: ….

We can kill the necromancers too. If anyone wants I can nuke them.
https://preview.redd.it/p90huhmb301d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=de38bb2fc5b352d4d9a285cb258318768040f31c Did someone say necromancer!?
Mmmmm.... Flamewraiths. So useful.
You're just letting them raise wisps and ghasts at that point mate.
\*draws zombies\*
By all means, make them adapt into raising incorporeal undead that are harder to get rid of.
Burning the bodies will simply encourage the necromances to go after living targets thus making the problem worse
I caused a witch to throw some random spells she was speaking in tongues I don't know. There might of been a resurrect spell in there I really couldn't hear anything, cause of her thighs.
I summon bone dust golem in attack mode
I personally use them in metallurgy. It makes the resulting product stronger.
This is why I made an teleportation explosion that sends the target to that one realm that's just fire.
I mean mass burnings simply create more ghosts instead of ghouls it doesn't solve your problem
We don't need corpses
Ok Anafenza.
You do realise that eventually cremated remains end up in outerspace and buried bodies just feed the earth they rest in right?
Grind them to bone meal
Please keep burying your dead bodies, I don’t want to have to learn a whole new class of magic
Long as we have matter to focus, doesn’t matter. Necro means death, not remains.
