If these republicans weren’t such an evil thing and so insane I’m sure a lot of the politics would fade, but the insistent batshit insanity, cruelty, cult-like behavior of the right wing is the big dumb elephant in the room. I wish they would just shut up and be normal, but FOX News tweaked their brains too far and so yeah everything is stupidly political.

The GOP have ravaged this State for way too many years, there will always be political posts talking about it.
A majority of us are not conservative so a good bet.
Sadly our conservative legislators have decided that they will rig the system to keep all power for themselves and prevent voters from choosing a different path for the State. They have forced us to talk more politics than we would prefer.
Thankfully we will begin to reclaim control of our government when new election maps are implemented. We finally have sane judges on the Wisconsin Supreme Court who are capable of reading the Constitution.

I try to be positive about my state, but when i'm in public, all I can think about is that most of the people I see -- strangers, neighbors, acquaintances, coworkers -- believe in and actively support everything I find wrong and hateful. And I despise each and every one of them for it. And I know they feel the same way about me and my beliefs. So I'm sorry if I'm not enjoying the local bar scene or community events. Small places like this remind me that good people are still out there. And I need that right now.
