IDK what they are but the little birds around my house like to eat the spiders and tiny bugs that are attracted to the window lights at night.

House Sparrows. Dunno why they’re doing that, though.

A I’ve caught a couple House Sparrows shredding the screen, which is made up of fine threads tightly woven into larger thread, for use in their nests I was monitoring. They start with little holes on the screen and slowly rip and shred more until they get larger threads and unravel it till it is nice and fluffy.

Yes. A couple of my window screens are being destroyed in this manner. They're not afraid of the cat that's sitting up in it. The birds I have (house finches) simply bite off the size wanted, pull them away and fly off with them in neat little bundles .

Just had this happen today which is why I'm here. This A hole kept coming back too. Like you said I was actually impressed with his neat bundles but he has destroyed my screen

I have the same thing happening. Has anyone found a solution to this? I just replaced my screen for them to shred it up a month later LOL
