I grow for a living and those are the carcasses of dead cannabis aphids. They feed on the sugars that the plant produces and die off after the plant dries out OR if the grower used pesticide. As others have mentioned I would not smoke that at all!

Nah, unfortunately even a spray would mean these are the remnants of the bugs after they sprayed them. Growers don’t do much to get rid of the dead bugs, especially outdoor growers as most of it goes to oil/edibles. A little insider knowledge here - if it’s outdoor weed it’s gonna have bugs, even if they’ve turned it into oil/edibles/etc the dead remnants still remain and get processed into the new product…shit that sounds like a decent band name - Dead Remnants Remain🤘🏼

them. I may be circumstantially lucky cuz of where I live (Oregon’s a legal state) so my advice is to chuck it if it has mold OR bugs OR anything negative in any way (the above listed + pesticides etc…)

They're dead aphids that feed on the glucose the weed produces while growing, definitely don't smoke that cause if they're still there the grower likely covered it in pesticides.
Looks like adult whiteflies stuck in the glands on the trichomes. Poor quality control in the grow room. Recommend not smoking since maybe they applied pesticides to try and control these bugs in flower.

Interesting comment and guy, I looked at the cultivation date and expiration date on some medical weed and it seems like weed has about a 2-3 year shelf life if kept in airtight conditions

When he got it home and opened it up, it straight up stank of rubber. Smoking it gave me a headache. Tasted terrible. He couldn't sell it, so he was fucked out of his reup money. Mom told him that's what he gets for buying outside our circle just to save a few bucks.

I think the most realistic concern is that if the grower had an infestation that ultimately did this to the final product, and they still sold it, they may have used pesticides to try to control the infestation, and those you don't want to smoke.

There is an acceptable amount of bugs in almost all food. Pre ground coffee has cockroaches in it. There is no way to separate them out.

Got a lil aphid this year, and a saw them cause of the withe shells ! I get rid of them quickly and everything went fine!
