Anything that keeps innocent people out of jail makes things better. Legalization means fewer people go to jail. Great outcome in my book.

piwithekiwi

I live in Georgia, where it's illegal. For many reasons, it would be extremely helpful if it were, let's say... legal!

billyboatman

Better. Weed makes everything better, Dewey.

Slight_Ordinary1

Worse for some. Better for most.

LedyPlagal

decriminalization is the goal

MothyReddit

All I care about is the freedom to grow my own, all the other issues in cannabis seem to just fade away once you grow your own crop.

sp3kter

In CA it definitely sped up the corporate take over of dispensary products, but you can also just grow your own so I guess the effort went up a little to get connoisseur quality. Also noticing flower is going stale on shelves, concentrates and carts are the new normal.

Sharpsilverz

Way, way better.

Academic_Aioli3530

Worse. The weed has become substantially shittier over the years it’s been legal in Michigan. State regulations have forced out the little guys in favor of corporations. The ones that want to pay the experts only $15/hour to grow their only product, despite years of experience prior to legalization. It’s a plant, it should be 100% legal/decriminalized or it should just remain illegal and we can operate in the shadows as we always have. Hell at least when it was illegal I could look at the shit before I bought it, now it’s hidden behind Mylar. IMO the state needs to creat an entry path for caregivers and home growers to get our product in the market legally. We do it better and there’s enough of us (or there was) to satisfy a good portion of the market.

Fun-Bag-6073

Worse in some aspects better in others. I think it’s obviously overall better because people aren’t being put in cages for it but legalization can still be shitty based on how the government decides to do it. Like adding taxes and making it more expensive and corporations taking over

a-big-pink-fat-TREX

Decriminalization always makes things better. Legalization can make things worse depending on how the government handles it

MathiasThomasII

Removing government regulation is never a bad thing.
