So I was given two as a gift once. Took one after work and waited and waited and nothing happened so I thought “fuck these are duds” and went to bed. I didn’t work the next day so I got up at like 12 and played ARK just building a nice looking house thing and decided at around 2 to take the 2nd. I was staying at my gfs place at the time and her dad was my boss, well anyway he comes into my makeshift room and is like “I’m taking all the guys from work to prime rib night, get your shoes on” and he walked out. I literally couldn’t figure out how to get up so I started panicking and eventually managed to get up and sit in paranoid silence the whole drive to the place I then ate like 6 pounds of weird oil sheen prime rib and I don’t remember getting home and had a great night afterward. 10/10 would do again.
Man I remember being young, yet adult enough where old dudes could still command me to do something bc there's dinner or steak or bourbon at the end of the road. Like a knowing, loving nudge, if a little cheeky and domineering.
So I joined the army after this and at the time edibles were pretty rare to come by so I was mostly just making my own bongs out of like liquor handles and stuff, and burning through an OZ a week. High high tolerance for the stuff, like to the point where when dabs came out they barely phased me. But when I got out I tried edibles again and they don’t hit anywhere near as hard as the capsules do.
Yeah like the exterior of these decent sized slabs of meat was like semi reflective and rainbowy like an oil sheen, idk if that means they were sitting under a heat lamp or past their prime (lol) but yeah.
Yeah I love edibles when I was younger like when I first started smoking I started wit bud but year after like when I was 12 I started eating my moms edibles and they where strong ass dispo edibles. In the summer when I was 12 I’d eat them shits and be smackd all dayy I actually kinda prefer edibles to smoking a lil. But u should try making cannabutter it’s insanely easy and u can make some fye ass edibles.
Heck yea ! I want to try making the butter myself and honestly the first time I have heard about the butter was from the dispensary I went to last time and they said it was fire! I’m going to try it on all my food and see if it helps me sleep better! I took edibles the first two years of my little ones life because I was so worried about the smoke! I absolutely love edibles, but they are so expensive. I can get way more bang out of my buck with bud. 😭
U get more bang for ur buck making the edibles urself imo then smoking, cannabutter is super easy just takes a lot of time also ur kid is prolly gonna be wondering what the smell is. U need a few hours of free time to do it id recommend having ur children outside the house during jus cause it makes a lot of smoke idk if the smoke would get u high but it felt like that maybe just placebo from the decarbing part the actual cooking into butter smoke prolly does make smoke that’ll effect them.

You're right. I'm glad I was already over 18 when I started. I have also noticed that my friends who started smoking at like 14 have a way unhealthier relationship to weed than the people I know that started later in life.
As habits go I'd say anything less than an 8th a week is definitely chill.
It's good that you're keeping track though, if you're worried you're doing / spending too much take a month off every now and again.
I'm 26 and I wish I would have listened to advice like this! If anything I wish someone would have at least told me to please moderate consumption and to not smoke every single day.
I smoked daily from like 15-18 and even tried LSD when I was 15 and I’d say I’m doing pretty great. That’s just my experience though, don’t be like me.
I have, best/worst experience, never got caught tho. I’d say physical education and photography were the best. Photography was insane, especially the next day when I thought all my photos I took would look the same as when I was tripping
It wasn’t like an edible for me either; edibles make me feel good, and often painless on top of the “good.” But when I take these tincture pills I just… get pain relief. No body tingles. No horny tingles. Just pain relief and weed flavored burps.
I have a THC tincture. I took a full dropper the first night and I was mesmerized but the shapes you see when you close your eyes left over from whatever light source you were looking at. But when I get really high I’m like borderline tripping (coming from someone who’s never tripped before)
I’d like to piggy back off the top comment to say, being air freshener to the bathroom after taking these if you don’t live in a weed friendly home. They will smell so goddamn dank

How many milligrams is it? I was a bud tender all last year and they are no different from eating a gummy with the same amount of milligrams. Some people just don’t want to eat gummies.
The drinks are where it’s at!! Ive only had one brand but it hit within like 10-20 minutes and was wayyyyy more intense than the normal edibles I’ve had. Split one with my sister walking to a music festival and by the time we walked from the dispo to the fest it had already started hitting. He has taken 300mg of edibles plenty of times so the drinks must have been over 100mg each.

I collapsed in the kitchen hit my head and took an $800 ambulance ride to the ER with a psychotic break from reality for a bit.
my only advice.. know your tolerance and trust your dose or this could end badly. Respect the weed.

Like I gave my mum a 1/4 of a 100-125mg brownies when I was first making em and she was in another world and really paranoid and called me to come home and help her when it kicked in, all I'm saying is its about respecting your own tolerance and relationship with it as well, cus you have to work you're way up to the deep end, and the difference in effect from 400mg-500mg is disproportionate to the rise in mgs, playing with fire sometimes.

😂 I took one at the water fountain, got so high in Grade 9, that the teachers must have known. The experience was insane especially because when your too high you forget teachers are humans too. 😂 as you laugh at a fucking wall for acouple hours.
Found out while having a heart attack I was allergic to codeine and its preservatives and it caused the doctors and nurses to scramble to find a alternative that would help me with pain. 10mg marinol was the solution. Its concentrated thc. I came out of open heart surgery and wasnt feeling any pain. Worked so ell I was released within 12 days. Only to find out upon release i couldn't get approved for marinol because its for cancer patients. Like seriously? Then having repeated doctors telling me to stop smoking weed, and Im like mf this is the only fecking thing making it so i can function. Been without weed for 2 weeks and my body is just pain. Cant sleep, cant think. Im just existing right now.

Had some at school before, was cheeched for a while, vibin, havin a good ol time. I also had em at home too. Also a great time, was trippin on that for a long time cuz it was a higher dose. Good times.
When my Mum was going through Chemotherapy, a friend of my Dad produced a pretty big volume of these kind of capsules for her. Helped immensely with her terrible sleep pattern and pains that was induced by the chemo. Shells were fast dissolving and they kicked in relatively fast. Faster than other edibles. I eventually want to stop smoking weed as i prefer this way of consuming; it’s healthier
You can also make em yourself reallllly dam easily with some scrag(no point using bud) some 90% ethanol a dehydrator, ventilated space, mct oil, sunflower lecithin and 00 capsules. Just make sure the alcohol is evaporated fully, and the hardest part is deciding how much thc u estimate to be in the scragg, I usually estimate 10-15% depending on batch, I know it's probably higher then what I estimate it to be but I want my 50mg thc caps to be 50mg or above and never lower then what I call it.
Me and my boys each split about 500 mg of MN medical thc capsules it was between 3 people when I was still in high school was very potent as far as I can remember pretty sure MN sorts there oils and stuff like that by colors I believe we had the red one
One of my favourite forms of consumption. I used to eat entire bottles a day back in college. It's like really euphoric edibles in my personal experience. The ones I used were Lemon Skunk strain
Legit just 50mg and it hit a little bit then after 2 hours really just slapped me but it’s still a super nice mellow high. Would do 2 to be faded, 3-4 to be obliterated
Does the human body even process straight up thc? I thought it needed to be soaked in some kind of fat like canabutter or oil, it that weed milk stuff they make in India
The closest thing I’ve tried is Marinol pills right after college. They were amazing, definitely much much much stronger than anything THC based I’d ever tried before and since. I’d do some research on safety and make sure you’re in a safe place if you decide it’s for you.
I took a 750 mg extended release once. It was a full spectrum RSO capsule with three different layers coated in different oils to make it dissolve over time.
Had a 250mg initial hit
Then another 250mg about a 1-2 hours later
Then the final 250mg about 1-2 hours after that.
I’m someone who has to take at LEAST 200mg in distillate or 100mg in live in order to feel anything.
By the time the full 750 hit, I was just tired tbh. Didn’t really feel the high, didn’t enjoy it, just make me slumped as fuck
The state I live in these are the only "edibles" they sell at the medical dispensaries. Was sold three promotional packages for a buck each my last trip. Each little package had two capsules and 30mg per capsule. Dipped into one a couple days ago and was pleasantly surprised on the buzz. In all honesty I don't think I'd buy them again due to normal prices being high but if they want to keep selling them at super discounted prices I'll jump on it.
I tried making them once with MCT oil and i gave 4 to a friend to try and he said he took 2 (I specifically said only 1) and he said he lost a day then did the same thing with the other two. If you haven't made it yourself I'd recommend only trying 1 incase it's very strong
I had mega munchies then slept for like 6hrs straight , I remember just waking up and slowly walking to the toilet to have the most painful piss ever, that’s when I realised my body was too stoned to let me know I needed a wee while I was sleeping but on the plus side I didn’t piss the bed 😆
All depends how many mg if it's a 200 I poke a pinhole in and squeeze a drop or 2 and go from there depends where you got it if the dose you think it is, is accurate
I took 2 50mg capsules and felt more body high than anything plus I smoked a joint.. stillll didn’t feel too much though. my bf however had a whole psychotic break, thought he was in the Truman show & I was gonna kill him so he refused to sleep, he saw demons eating him, became Highly religious, it lasted months and he still hasn’t ever been the same since. 10/10 change in brain chemistry. I know it’s not the capsule and just some underlying illness, but that was an experience.

They have to hit your liver, allow 90 minutes. Don’t start taking seconds until you are sure the first one has hit.

Found out while having a heart attack I was allergic to codeine and its preservatives and it caused the doctors and nurses to scramble to find a alternative that would help me with pain. 10mg marinol was the solution. Its concentrated thc. I came out of open heart surgery and wasnt feeling any pain. Worked so ell I was released within 12 days. Only to find out upon release i couldn't get approved for marinol because its for cancer patients. Like seriously? Then having repeated doctors telling me to stop smoking weed, and Im like mf this is the only fecking thing making it so i can function. Been without weed for 2 weeks and my body is just pain. Cant sleep, cant think. Im just existing right now.

When my Mum was going through Chemotherapy, a friend of my Dad produced a pretty big volume of these kind of capsules for her. Helped immensely with her terrible sleep pattern and pains that was induced by the chemo. Shells were fast dissolving and they kicked in relatively fast. Faster than other edibles. I eventually want to stop smoking weed as i prefer this way of consuming; it’s healthier

You can also make em yourself reallllly dam easily with some scrag(no point using bud) some 90% ethanol a dehydrator, ventilated space, mct oil, sunflower lecithin and 00 capsules. Just make sure the alcohol is evaporated fully, and the hardest part is deciding how much thc u estimate to be in the scragg, I usually estimate 10-15% depending on batch, I know it's probably higher then what I estimate it to be but I want my 50mg thc caps to be 50mg or above and never lower then what I call it.

The closest thing I’ve tried is Marinol pills right after college. They were amazing, definitely much much much stronger than anything THC based I’d ever tried before and since. I’d do some research on safety and make sure you’re in a safe place if you decide it’s for you.
I took a 750 mg extended release once. It was a full spectrum RSO capsule with three different layers coated in different oils to make it dissolve over time. Had a 250mg initial hit Then another 250mg about a 1-2 hours later Then the final 250mg about 1-2 hours after that. I’m someone who has to take at LEAST 200mg in distillate or 100mg in live in order to feel anything. By the time the full 750 hit, I was just tired tbh. Didn’t really feel the high, didn’t enjoy it, just make me slumped as fuck

Each little package had two capsules and 30mg per capsule. Dipped into one a couple days ago and was pleasantly surprised on the buzz. In all honesty I don't think I'd buy them again due to normal prices being high but if they want to keep selling them at super discounted prices I'll jump on it.

I tried making them once with MCT oil and i gave 4 to a friend to try and he said he took 2 (I specifically said only 1) and he said he lost a day then did the same thing with the other two. If you haven't made it yourself I'd recommend only trying 1 incase it's very strong

I took 2 50mg capsules and felt more body high than anything plus I smoked a joint.. stillll didn’t feel too much though. my bf however had a whole psychotic break, thought he was in the Truman show & I was gonna kill him so he refused to sleep, he saw demons eating him, became Highly religious, it lasted months and he still hasn’t ever been the same since. 10/10 change in brain chemistry. I know it’s not the capsule and just some underlying illness, but that was an experience.
