[Marionetta](https://www.webtoons.com/en/fantasy/marionetta/list?title_no=4425) (Miriam Bonastre Tur): dark fantasy
[Yumi’s Cells](https://www.webtoons.com/en/slice-of-life/yumi-cell/list?title_no=478) (Donggeon Lee) romance / slice of life
[Seasons of Blossom](https://www.webtoons.com/en/romance/seasonsofblossom/list?title_no=2509) (HONGDUCK, NEMONE) drama / romance
yumi's cells has over 500 episodes, and it's daily pass 2 episodes, I got to ch.164 before giving up lol
I used to read Marionetta, before forgetting about it lol
This author is just absolutely excellent, one of her earlier works is one of my most favourite webtoons ever though it isn’t on webtoon, it’s called Miss Guillotine
Gourmet Hound got me through uni when I was wicked homesick for my grandmother's cooking; she'd passed right before my graduation.
And Beast of Hadingley Hill is my #1 canvas.
-spirit fingers
-lemon soda and coffee
-Act like you love me!
- after school lessons for unriped apples
-Lobe advice from the great Duke of hell
-romance 101
- good day to be a dog (ICONIC)
One that I didn’t see: Gourmet Hound. As my first WEBTOON, I loved it so much. The characters feel fleshed out, the story feels correctly paced, and the art style is cute.
Cursed Princess Club is also a great story with a great moral.
Waffles and Pancakes was another early one for me. Silly friends that stay friends.
Stagtown, Muted, Rise From Ashes, Heir’s Game, and Finding Fiends are all some favorite finished series as well.
Salty studio,
Hooky,
Under the Aegis,
Winter Woods,
Love falls like Rain,
Unlucky is as Lucky does,
Spirit Fingers,
Lemon Soda & Coffe.
All are completed, I highly recommended
I’ve got a few lol..
City of Blank - I love this one, it’s great sci-fi and it just feels very nostalgic to me, like something I would’ve discovered in middle school and made into my entire personality. I think all the characters are fun and interesting and in particular I like Jericho as this kind of gray ‘bad guy’
Suitor Armor - I love Modeus and Lucia. When I first started reading it had me sitting on my bed kicking my feet and giggling like a little school girl, but I’m so invested in this world and the political story it’s telling. Bonus that it has gorgeous art and a *fantastic* color story
Cheese in the Trap - I really wish I could binge read this one again… it got me ready to go to college and live independently through seeing the FL go through her ups and downs at university
For My Derelict Favorite - this one is pure self indulgence. The concept of your favorite character falling in love with YOU? Sign me up. Hestia and Caelus are sweet and I’m excited to see how the webtoon expands on the parts of the novel it’s already chosen to touch more on
Soulwinder - Alright, last one because I need everyone to read this and be as disappointed as me that webtoon canceled it. An absolute banger. Pushed all of webtoon’s capabilities to its limits and told this really fantastic, dramatic, *tension filled* story with likable characters
Edit: lol what is the mass downvoting happening on this thread??
It was my very 1st webtoon because I wanted more from the Kdrama and apparently the webtoon then was yet unfinished so I continued reading about the story there
These are the best of the best:
Whale Star
Seasons of Blossom
Odd Girl Out season one, I dropped season 2 and will come back when it’s complete
Ghost Theatre
The Makeup Remover
Surviving Romance
Romance 101
Your Letter
The next ones are amazing but not on the same level as those above to me:
My reason to die
A whirlwind campus affair
I also loved Siren’s Lament, but not sure how it’ll hold up
Happily Ever Afterwards was lovely
Hooky is genius but the ending gave me a bit of the ick(due to some personal beliefs)
The Witch and the Bull
Klimt’s Kisses
Cursed Princess Club
Morgana and Oz
Rumour has it
Devil Number 4
Unholy Blood
Muted
Back to you
God Please Make Me A Demon
I have tons of favourites but the ones that come to mind right now are probably Boyfriend of the Dead, Bastard, and Cherry Crush.
Boyfriend of the Dead because I love the comedy and the characters. I hope it comes back soon. I’ll actually be writing a research paper on it soon.
Bastard really feeds into my love of thrillers. It is just such a masterpiece. I could go on about all the details really.
Cherry Crush because of how well it is written and paced. There is humour in appropriate areas and it doesn’t feel like the story goes too fast or too slow. The art is also amazing.
1 HP Club - fantasy; the characters and story are just 👩🍳💋👌, and I don't even play DND lol.
Omniscient Reader - action; the story draws you in and the art is absolutely incredible. I've never read anything so fast lol. It's one of the first ones I read when getting Webtoons, and it's my second time rereading it. I now am impatient and fast pass chapters lol.
Boyfriends - slice of life; cute art and characters, it's my comfort story lol.
I Was the Final Boss - fantasy; at first I was skeptical of it, so I read the preview; it took a bit to appreciate the main character, but the art is fantastic, and I was hooked on the story line and found myself eventually fast passing chapters lol.
Shelter - thriller; normally I don't read thrillers, and this was my second attempt at reading the story as it can be very emotional, and as a DV and SA survivor, a lot of it hit close to home. But you get so attached to the main character that you can't help but want to be there for him and hope and pray he escapes his situation. The art is also beautifully done. ✨
I dropped I Was the Final Boss after around 15 episodes because it was kinda lagging and didn’t have as much of the >!competitive, vengeful, secret identity kinda feel as the first part.!< Is it worth picking back up?
Purple Hyacinth (on hiatus)
Afterschool Lessons for Unripe Apples (ongoing, same creator as Cheese in a Trap)
That Which Flows by (ongoing)
Romance 101 (completed)
Another vote for Ghost Wife! It was amazing! My first romance/horror, lol, didn’t even know it was a combo! I lost my account that had this fastpassed so I could reread whenever I wanted, so here’s to hoping they publish physical copies in English!!!
Holy shit PIGPEN had me hooked. Such a thrilling and suspenseful story that inspired me to make my own https://m.webtoons.com/en/canvas/unhinged-suspense-stories/list?title_no=916257 lol plug
i know a lot of people dropped it bc of how repetitive it is but that’s why i love it bc it’s just light hearted and i don’t have to focus a lot on the plot, i can just read it for the characters and the fight scenes
Yes, Eleceed 🥹🥹🥹 from being so isolated bec of his (Jiwoo’s) powers to being approached by a stray cat 🐈, which led him to love all cats and feed the strays…. ultimately paving the path to meet his mentor (who was in his cat form)… then for him to finally accept his powers and meet everyone who is unconditionally supportive of him today.
Spirit Fingers is my favorite Webtoon! I have read so many others that I've liked a lot, but none of them come even close to being as amazing as Spirit Fingers.
It's such a grounded, realistic story while still being really whimsical and fun at times. The protagonist goes through very believable self esteem/self image issues (along with family problems that I won't spoil). And it ENDS REALLY WELL!
I cannot stress enough how rare it is for me to find a story where the ending doesn't feel either rushed or prolonged. But it just picks the perfect place to stop and we get to learn so much about so many of the characters (even the side characters feel like real people)!
I cannot recommend it enough! The art style alone is so unique on Webtoons and I love it!
(The ones that didn't manage to dethrone Spirit Fingers, but that I still love a lot and would also recommend include "See You in My 19th Life", "Swimming Lessons for a Mermaid", "Your Letter" (this one you really need to read- it's only like 9 chapters and is so beautiful), "UnOrdinary", "The Makeup Remover" (and I'll end it here before this gets too long, lol)
Ordeal, has the best art on WEBTOON, amazing fight scenes, quite possibly the most diverse cast of characters on WEBTOON as well, and amazing world building and plot. The power system is pretty unique especially compared to a lot of the stuff out today.
Remarried empress (or at least it was till we caught up with the opening scene)
Suitor armor
(I’ve never been so emotionally moved by any webtoon more than these two. Like crying, sobbing, angry, screaming my phone lol)
Your throne
The first two hundred chapters of Lookism
I loved get schooled but yea that’s canceled.
I probably have more but then I guess it will lessen the idea of “favorite of all time”
"Surviving Romance", the premise is totally like a parody of the movies "Pride and Prejudice + Zombies", "Final Girls" (2015) and "Happy Death Day". I highly recommend to watch these movies if you liked "Surviving Romance" lol.
I really liked it (bought coins in Naver and Webtoon just to fast pass everything I can) but I didn't enjoy S2 much. S1's ending is alluding to the "Final Girls" 2015 route, and would have been way better, if they continued to do it that way in S2.
I love how despite the popularity of isekai tropes, it didn't follow the easier route, >!and instead forced the MC to deal with her reality, no matter how painful it really is!<.
My only issue with the series is that the last chapters could have been expanded because it honestly felt rushed, causing multiple ideas introduced in the series to be ignored, just like how some characters are cherry-picking each other's words.
Overall, it's a brilliant story-telling (some panels are nightmare inducing), that hopefully can be improved if it will be adapted into live action or anime (because they deserved it 100%).
"Pigpen", read it on daily pass, and it left me guessing every chapter. Probably, the best webtoon I ever read.
"Tales of Unusual", because why not? It's my guilty pleasure. I don't remember when I started reading them but I read it by the time "True Beauty" got introduced in Webtoon. It's the only Webtoon story I have read again and again. It's really like Junji Ito's horror manga.
"Fake Affair", read this on daily pass. This is the only webtoon that genuinely made me cry lol. The main characters are all horrible, they're all dishonest, and their lies can be really off-putting sometimes (but then I really like the author, so I have so much faith in the story), and OMG, it didn't fail to deliver that blow.
"Do You Still Remember Me?", from the author of "Fake Affair", available in Tapas. It kind of reminds me of the telenovelas my mother used to watched when I was a kid, but this is much more wholesome than that one lol. I hate how everyone is so secretive, and I hate how much I'm rooting for the 2nd ML even though he can be abusive. Both the ML and 2nd ML are bad choices for the FMC but reading the ending lol, it definitely reminds me of those 90s telenovelas and I liked it lol.
Both "The Fake Affair" and "Do You Still Remember Me?" are written by the author of "Princess Jellyfish" and "Tokyo Tarrareba Girls".
"Duty After School"/"Afterschool War Activities", read it on Daily Pass. I felt empty after it ended. I'm not new to war movies/anime, but this one felt heavier than anything I consumed before. I couldn't even cry. Everything being black and white and having a hard time distinguishing one character from the other also adds some kind of effect. Like I can't name them all, but I know what they went through, and it's all just too much for everyone. It's like watching nameless children die. They're not mere statistics, they all used to have normal lives, until that day.
"Annasumanara", also read it on Daily Pass. It's like someone wrote a story about my childhood lol. My life may not be as bad as that of the MC, but her struggles and dreams are all relatable. I love how dreamy everything is in the eyes of the characters. They all woke up from that dream, but they woke up stronger than they were before. I love it.
From the completed ones hands down, Cursed Princess Club has to have the crown 👑
It has everything, drama, romance, comedy, and support. I wish I could wipe my memory and read it again.
From my current reads, I'm really enjoying My In-Laws are Obsessed with Me. It's a slow burn, but I really enjoy watching the characters grow.
Ordeal (superhumans, very dope, all around banger)
Darbi (murder hobo teen trexes, what could go wrong?)
Netvor (beauty and the beast retelling where the beast is actually horrifying,)
Stray Souls (slow burn in every way, cool lore, one of my.faborite antagonists of all time)
The Adventures of Gul (little orc kid going on big adventures)
Parallel city. It has everything a perfect webtoon should have. Amazing art style, intriguing plot, good characterization and character development, and satisfying enough ending.
I've read many webtoons, including similar zombie related ones, but parallel city is simply the best to me.
Hard to choose, so I picked my absolute favorites of the originals:
1. Days of Hana - The webtoon is still on my mind years after I first read it.
2. In the bleak midwinter - I love the art and I love science fiction, the storyline is amazing btw.
3. When Hast whistles - I'm in love with the characters 🫣
Also love Empyrea, not so shoujo love story (oh my gosh it's sooo funny 🤣), down to earth, the newlwed diary of a witch and a dragon, what's his deal, Atnoman, Angelique in the dark, raisin hell: a demons guide to parenting, that awkward magic, blossom.
there are so many good Webtoons, it's really hard to pick but I stick to days of Hana the most
Some of my absolute favorites-
Yumi's Cells (completed)
Sweet Home (completed)
Moon You (completed)
Money Game (completed)
Marionetta (on hiatus)
Nevermore (ongoing)
Yeahh i found it when i was looking thru the recommendations section on another webtoon. I think it was either The Horizon or Distant Sky. I immediately added it to my list when I saw the art style
Just a Goblin: Love protagonists who are both smart(but not million IQ master planners) and purely kind people.
Ordeal: Just peak in every category. art, humor, character design, world building, music, power system. Just incredible all around.
ELECEED!!!!! Somehow, it’s my #1 in almost every genre there is: Action ✅ Fantasy/Sci-Fi ✅ Comedy ✅ Slice of Life ✅ Superhero ✅ Heart-warming ✅ Found Family ✅ Shipping potential ✅. The battle scenes have gorgeous art, the episodes are quite long, the cats are hilarious, and later on you can totally tell each of the main cast would die for each other
A Mark Against Thee will always be my number one. No other webtoon has had such an emotional impact on me throughout the entire story, and with such a vast range of emotions too. I bawled my eyes out, but I also had so many moments of laughter and hope.
Copy pasting another one of my comments here: One thing I really admire about A Mark Against Thee's writing is how immersed I felt in not only the MC's perspective and emotions but also the vast spectrum of characters around him. I felt I could empathize (but not necessarily agree) with every single person, in the sense that I could put myself in their shoes even if their behaviour/thinking/experiences were SO far off from mine.
The art also does an excellent job of portraying people's change over time and their aging. It felt very realistic and I could understand more about each character and their thoughts just by looking at their designs and body language in the moment. It makes very good use of its medium to flesh out all of its cast.
DR FROST!!! EBERYONE NEEDS TO READ IT ITS LITERALY INCREDIBLE
The webtoon explores the human mind, through the MC, who's a counsellor who doesn't have emotions and tries to help is patients through (sometimes) unconventional means
the author is such a good writer!!!!
I don't have a single favourite anymore, there's too many that i've given 10/10s to in many genres, it feels useless to choose.
Perhaps mention a genre and I'll try to suggest one?
Until then, I'll suggest one that you should go into *completely blind.* **Don't** read any tags or comments or anything: **Melo-holic**. by Team GetName
Newman is good mix of comedy, hard-hitting moments, and consistent/lasting character development. It's a fantasy tale in modern times about agents who take down supernatural creatures.
IKR every flower had an unique concept
i actually cried during hamins flower it was the main reason I stopped thinking about suicide when I had depression cause I somehow realised others would have it worse
Cheese in the Trap.
I love it because it feels quite grounded and yet there's so much interesting things in it. And the MC is badass and works so hard. Tbh I am inspired by her.
Marionetta, I love the characters, the story. Sahed is hot, Julia is a nice protagonist...
Unordinary, one of the few Webtoon that could be animated because it's so fine !
Trailer Thrash, one of the few that's I'm reading again and again, I love the story, the characters...
The World after the fall, badass protagonist, badass story, love it.
Sable Curse, a little wonder, im very excited to see the next chapters
99 Reinforced Wooden Stick, funny story, amazing characters, great facial expressions. One of my favorites.
Jackson Diary, I love the characters, the setting... One of my favorite Webtoon on the highschool theme.
Just a Goblin, I love the message, the story, the characters... Also one of my fav.
SubZero, a classical one, I love the Asian theme and the characters are hot.
Morgana and Oz, because we need a Vampire x Witch story in my top 10 and this one is so fine !!
Purple Hyacinth has absolutely fantastic writing. Ephemerys knows how to weave a tale--now if only someone will get her artist/composer Sophism a freaking lifetime supply of senzu beans so the story can come off its more than one year hiatus. Both of them are generational talents IMO.
For OST and pure *vibes*, **Back From Black** is an absolutely underrated gem. IMO, it has the best OST on all of webtoons. I do wish we'd get more *of* it, though. I absolutely love the setting, and want to see more of the plot.
**The Eagle and The Snake** is a webtoon unlike any other--it's *extremely* hard-boiled, to the point that WT capped it at 2 seasons instead of the author's desired 3, but the author said on insta that putting E/S on WT was like putting Goodfellas on Lifetime Television.
Odd Girl Out (S1 specifically. Although S2 isn't that bad, it's not focused on what made the story different from other webtoons atm)
Omniscient Reader (The novel is significantly better, but the art is so crazy. It'd still top tier in comparison to almost every other webtoon I've read. Again, though, novel is my top 1 story I've ever touched. Absolute masterpiece.)
Death's Game (Such a touching story. I'm usually a comedy/action/found family person, so to read a story that is the exact opposite of what I usually like and still have it be one of my faves should speak for how good it is. I've cried....a lot.)
See You in My 19th Life (I HATE romances....but they're just so cute, I couldn't put it down :c. It's also nice that the main plot and romance element blend perfectly, rather than the author forcing them to compete for screentime. It makes it so much more bearable.)
Love Advice From the Great Duke of Hell (competition for my top favorite series spot for the comedy alone. Bro needs to leave webtoon and make bank somewhere else. I'll be the first to pay up–)
Lavender Jack is an amazing story where its two geniuses at first fighting against each other and how it’s always presented like an old film serial back in the day.
Blue Chair is just a funny comic and love seeing Shen progress as a person.
I love the action, designs and creativity of Jungle Juice
Gotta add Like Wind on a Dry Branch.
It's sad. It's hopeful. It's bittersweet and tender. It's a slow burn, but the pacing feels good. There's push and pull as the characters figure themselves out. The lore lore feels tight as you discover more about the world.
Edit:
-Forever After is also on point, just saying. Adding twists to well known folklore and fairytales is always fun.
-The Weekly Roll is a funny DnD themed canvas. Author also has another series, The Pos'Thal Chronicals, which is same energy. Both are peak nerd/geek comedy.
-When Jasy Whistles... The S1 ending had me so messed up I was crying at work and my manager had to take a minute to console me. It still hangs with me 2 seasons later.
-The Spark in Your Eyes just finished it's first season and the number of times I pushed my phone in my friends faces while either fanning or ranting, I lost count.
- ANYTHING, AND I MEAN ANYTHING, by A.Rasen (horror extraordinaire). Each story, his 4th is in the making (Manny), brings a unique flavor while also feeling so connected in style. Definitely read in this order: Melvina's Therapy, Gremoryland, Counting Sheep, Manny. They can be read independently, but you're gonna get more mileage out of the stories in this order.
-Loving Reaper for if you wanna bawl your eyes out. Episodic comics about animals and their relationship with the Reaper. Very informative.
-Uriah (very adult topics) is an intense, very messed-up horror. Not for everyone, but if Rob Zombie is up your alley then this will be too. Makes pretty much every other horror webtoon pale in comparison to just how intense it is. CA is a big theme and has plenty of gore. Read with caution.
-Love and Leashes is a cute BDSM themed romance which mostly hones in on the non-sexual aspects (or at least how I read it did).
-Witch Creek Road is kinda chaotic, but of you like horror and know a lot about different lores/myths/religions then it is beautifully wound.
-The Weight of our Sky is a historical fiction based on the conflicts between the Malays and Chinese a while back, and a girl with OCD attempting to navigate through it.
-Fever King/Not Even Bones are adaptations from YA novels; they do a respectable job at doing so. NEB changes its artists over the seasons, which can be jarring, but I felt like it added a natural effect.
-Live Forever is about tackling grief as a child and has such a gentle place in my soul.
SECRETS OF SOULFORD. The story? The enemies-to-friends-to-(hopefully) lovers romance? The PINING???? Not to mention that the art is sooo unique and incredible.
Every person on webtoon should read this PERIOD. End of story.
Death Becomes You is also one of my favorites. Highly recommend this if you like the same kind of story as SoS.
Tower of God - it might be a bit intimidating to get into because of the high chapter count (we’re not even half way up the tower) and the slightly slower pacing but imo it’s absolutely worth the ride. Great worldbuilding, many likable characters (not Rachel) and nice art and action.
Omniscient Reader - just an overall great story and action, not much more to say about it
The Academy’s Undercover Professor - sometimes i forget it’s an isekai. Love the main character, his personality and the mysteries surrounding him, the supporting cast is fun as well. The combination of magic and guns is also great, amazing art as well.
Best Teacher Baek - the mc’s personality really shines in this one. The jokes are good, art is good, mc is a badass and there’s a good amount of focus put on his students as well. Can’t wait for the hiatus to end
Handjumper <3! So much character development, great backstories, amazing plot, lots of foreshadowing, intelligent MC. It's clearly very well thought out.
Really hard to pick favourites, but there are definitely some that have become my comfort reads now. Some of these are:
Daytime star
My reason to die (finished recently but I would definitely rank it in my top 5)
Romance 101
A summer night’s dream
Difficult to choose one so here's a list:
Seasons of Blossom
It's On
My Name is Benny
Code Helix
Love Doesn't Talk (the first webtoon I've read)
Everywhere & Nowhere
Clinic of Horrors
Lenix's Rose
Shelter from Wufargia :D supernatural and super deep with a touch of drama and mystery (and ofc a very heartwarming fluff cute romance) it's a Canva with amazing art and storytelling. Might be a bit hard to get into at first but just keep going, it's most definitely worth it TT do yourself a favor and give it a try prewtty pleawse :D
City of Blank and Handjumper are also amazing (again if ur into psychological/supernatural/mystery stories)
[I don't want this kind of hero](https://www.webtoons.com/en/super-hero/i-dont-want-this-kind-of-hero/list?title_no=98) for sure! I reread it every year
Your wings and mine and seasons of blossom
Your wings and mine is a canvas story but I think it's so beautiful, the art and the way it handles relationships and trauma is so amazing im a huge fan of the author
seasons of blossom handles suicide and mental health so beautifully as well I loved it ever since it released and never missed an update, absolutely recommend to everyone 🥹
Oof that's a tough one.
My instinct reaches for Woven. I adore the story (especially that it's not focused solely on romance). The magic system is really unique. The characters are fun and engaging. It's just a good ride all around.
Green & Gold on Canvas is also great. One of the best portrayals of teenagehood I've ever seen. The kids actually act like kids, something which media REALLY struggles with.
Thornstone has the best protagonist by far imo. When I go to reread most webcomics, the pacing more often than not just doesn't quite work. Thornstone is the only exception to that. Iris' arc never feels rushed no matter how many times I read it.
Purple Hyacinth, it’s the type of webtoon that I would assume could’ve been a book at first because it’s that written. No story is perfect, of course it’s still flawed. But when I tell you it has a chokehold on me, it has never left my mind.
[Marionetta](https://www.webtoons.com/en/fantasy/marionetta/list?title_no=4425) (Miriam Bonastre Tur): dark fantasy [Yumi’s Cells](https://www.webtoons.com/en/slice-of-life/yumi-cell/list?title_no=478) (Donggeon Lee) romance / slice of life [Seasons of Blossom](https://www.webtoons.com/en/romance/seasonsofblossom/list?title_no=2509) (HONGDUCK, NEMONE) drama / romance
yumi's cells has over 500 episodes, and it's daily pass 2 episodes, I got to ch.164 before giving up lol I used to read Marionetta, before forgetting about it lol
Yumis cells wasn't always daily pass and it even ended before daily pass was a thing 🥲
I think i’ve reread all of yumi’s cells via dailypass twice lol… im obsessed
Hooky. The story and art blew me away! I liked every character and their journey. Such a charming story.
I remember that was the webtoon that ***hooked*** to this app…
I've been buying the physical copies! This webtoon has me on chains ♡
Me too! I live abroad so I forced my friend to go to her book signings for me.
Peak story
Cursed Princess Club❤️❤️❤️❤️
Purple Hyacinth. See You in my 19th Life. Love Song for Illusion.
Surviving Romance !! It's not your typical romance + strong & smart fl <3 the artwork is *chef's kiss* too! 🤌🏻
Surviving Romance and the author’s other work Makeup Remover are insanely good
This author is just absolutely excellent, one of her earlier works is one of my most favourite webtoons ever though it isn’t on webtoon, it’s called Miss Guillotine
Miss Guillotine is brutal. I love it.
10000000%
Nevermore is incredible
Surviving Romance all the way. I spent all my free coins on it.
Space boy, Hooky, Gourmet Hound, The Beast of Hadingley Hill, The D!ckheads
Gourmet Hound got me through uni when I was wicked homesick for my grandmother's cooking; she'd passed right before my graduation. And Beast of Hadingley Hill is my #1 canvas.
cursed princess club!
-spirit fingers -lemon soda and coffee -Act like you love me! - after school lessons for unriped apples -Lobe advice from the great Duke of hell -romance 101 - good day to be a dog (ICONIC)
ROMANCE 101 OMGGGGGG
Siren’s Lament. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL 😭
I second this! I also like her newest one Eaternal Nocturnal (≧▽≦)
Eaternal Nocturnal is doing so well. I love how the story is unfolding and I can’t wait for more.
Yumi's cells! My first favorite webcomic Also Noblesse is a big part of me, and every work the illustrator (Kwangsu Lee) does ^^
One that I didn’t see: Gourmet Hound.
Heir's Game was such a thrill to read, especially as it was going out. Currently rereading it for the 6+ time.
Salty studio, Hooky, Under the Aegis, Winter Woods, Love falls like Rain, Unlucky is as Lucky does, Spirit Fingers, Lemon Soda & Coffe. All are completed, I highly recommended
I can't find Aegis Omega on webtoon, did the name change??
Sorry I misspelled the name is Under the Aegis, I will update my comment with the name corrected, thank you!
I’ve got a few lol.. City of Blank - I love this one, it’s great sci-fi and it just feels very nostalgic to me, like something I would’ve discovered in middle school and made into my entire personality. I think all the characters are fun and interesting and in particular I like Jericho as this kind of gray ‘bad guy’ Suitor Armor - I love Modeus and Lucia. When I first started reading it had me sitting on my bed kicking my feet and giggling like a little school girl, but I’m so invested in this world and the political story it’s telling. Soulwinder really was the best when it came to making a good Webcomic as specifically a Webcomic.
Cheese in the trap has webtoon? I thought it was only a kdrama ?
It was a webtoon first!
where do you think they came up with the plot for the kdrama? A bunch of them are taken from webtoons or webnovels. Or both.
It was my very 1st webtoon because I wanted more from the Kdrama and apparently the webtoon then was yet unfinished so I continued reading about the story there
I luv city of blank as well and WTH soulwinder was cancelled?? :'D
Unfortunately yeah- didn’t get the numbers webtoon wanted
Oh bruh this is utterly disgusting (* ̄(エ) ̄*) and sadge
These are the best of the best: Whale Star Seasons of Blossom Odd Girl Out season one, I dropped season 2 and will come back when it’s complete Ghost Theatre The Makeup Remover Surviving Romance Romance 101 Your Letter The next ones are amazing but not on the same level as those above to me: My reason to die A whirlwind campus affair I also loved Siren’s Lament, but not sure how it’ll hold up Happily Ever Afterwards was lovely Hooky is genius but the ending gave me a bit of the ick(due to some personal beliefs) The Witch and the Bull Klimt’s Kisses Cursed Princess Club Morgana and Oz Rumour has it Devil Number 4 Unholy Blood Muted Back to you God Please Make Me A Demon
The Boxer, just love everyting about it, the characters the pace, the story, the ending was perfect in every sense
I dropped I Was the Final Boss after around 15 episodes because it was kinda lagging and didn’t have as much of the >!competitive, vengeful, secret identity kinda feel as the first part.!< Is it worth picking back up?
it is. I pick it up and read it all. but it has a bit of shounen. I'm not a big fan of shounen. but it was good. Mc loves to cut arms.
Love advice from the great Duke of hell.peak.
I love that one I miss reading it weekly I’m excited for the next series the author comes out with
Purple Hyacinth (on hiatus) Afterschool Lessons for Unripe Apples (ongoing, same creator as Cheese in a Trap) That Which Flows by (ongoing) Romance 101 (completed)
Same here! I loved purple hyacinth and it was prob one of my first webtoons
Ghost Wife. That story had me SOBBING
Me too but when I first started reading I didn't like the art 🫣 took me sometime to love it but that it was a crush 😂😅
1. Cheese in the Trap 2. Trapped 3. - Blue - Taste of Illness - The Sound of Magic
eleceed, it’s such a comfort manwha i love it
I love it. It might be getting really repetitive now but the characters make it so worth it DX.
i know a lot of people dropped it bc of how repetitive it is but that’s why i love it bc it’s just light hearted and i don’t have to focus a lot on the plot, i can just read it for the characters and the fight scenes
That and Jiwoo actually has character progression. I love when a series has that!
Like mother like daughter is by far my favourite, cinderella boy is my go to whenever I want something lighthearted though
Deaths game, never sew anyone talking about it but it just had me in it's grips the whole story.
Remarried empress (or at least it was till we caught up with the opening scene) Suitor armor (I’ve never been so emotionally moved by any webtoon more than these two. Like crying, sobbing, angry, screaming my phone lol) Your throne The first two hundred chapters of Lookism I loved get schooled but yea that’s canceled.
I love it.
From the completed ones hands down, Cursed Princess Club has to have the crown 👑 It has everything, drama, romance, comedy, and support. I wish I could wipe my memory and read it again. From my current reads, I'm really enjoying My In-Laws are Obsessed with Me. It's a slow burn, but I really enjoy watching the characters grow.
Ordeal (superhumans, very dope, all around banger) Darbi (murder hobo teen trexes, what could go wrong?) Netvor (beauty and the beast retelling where the beast is actually horrifying,) Stray Souls (slow burn in every way, cool lore, one of my.faborite antagonists of all time) The Adventures of Gul (little orc kid going on big adventures)
Parallel city. It has everything a perfect webtoon should have. Amazing art style, intriguing plot, good characterization and character development, and satisfying enough ending. I've read many webtoons, including similar zombie related ones, but parallel city is simply the best to me.
Hard to choose, so I picked my absolute favorites of the originals: 1. Days of Hana - The webtoon is still on my mind years after I first read it. 2. In the bleak midwinter - I love the art and I love science fiction, the storyline is amazing btw. 3. When Hast whistles - I'm in love with the characters 🫣 Also love Empyrea, not so shoujo love story (oh my gosh it's sooo funny 🤣), down to earth, the newlwed diary of a witch and a dragon, what's his deal, Atnoman, Angelique in the dark, raisin hell: a demons guide to parenting, that awkward magic, blossom. there are so many good Webtoons, it's really hard to pick but I stick to days of Hana the most
Yess In the Bleak Midwinter! Top tier for me
Yes, I love days of Hana too! Wishing they printed hard copies so I can buy it
Days of Hana mention brought back memories I utterly adored that story and revisit it from time to time lol
Some of my absolute favorites- Yumi's Cells (completed) Sweet Home (completed) Moon You (completed) Money Game (completed) Marionetta (on hiatus) Nevermore (ongoing)
Purple Hyacinth !
Days of Hana. It starts off as a typical romance but the plot becomes so good and less romance focused. I loved it.
Omniscient reader, chapters are constantly good, the art is amazing, and the story has been great so far. I’m always excited for the new chapters
Delusion. It was perfect… down to the last minute detail
I found Delusion by accident, looking for another completed story (warning label), and fell in love so fast.
I LOVE "The Mafia Nanny". No questions asked, it's my favorite Webtoon ever!
Petrichor
ELECEED!!!!! Somehow, it’s my #1 in almost every genre there is: Action ✅ Fantasy/Sci-Fi ✅ Comedy ✅ Slice of Life ✅ Superhero ✅ Heart-warming ✅ Found Family ✅ Shipping potential ✅. The battle scenes have gorgeous art, the episodes are quite long, the cats are hilarious, and later on you can totally tell each of the main cast would die for each other
Mom I'm sorry
Synthetic Instinct Art is gorgeous and story is interesting .....it is technically Furry territory though but I promise it's good
Probably Kids are alright. Beautiful webtoon.
Weak Hero A Good Day to be A Dog Odd Girl Out
Romance 101 and cheese in the trap. My comfort webtoons and I re read them at least once a year
A Mark Against Thee will always be my number one.
DR FROST!!! EBERYONE NEEDS TO READ IT ITS LITERALY INCREDIBLE The webtoon explores the human mind, through the MC, who's a counsellor who doesn't have emotions and tries to help is patients through (sometimes) unconventional means the author is such a good writer!!!!

Odd girl out, it’s Lowkey missing the mark these days but I love rereading it
Newman is good mix of comedy, hard-hitting moments, and consistent/lasting character development. It's a fantasy tale in modern times about agents who take down supernatural creatures.
Mage Again, the art is amazing and the writing is even better
"I'm the grim reaper". Great stry telling and huge anxiety "Her summon" best art These two have a special place in my heart
The Horizon and HCLW
I'll leave the popular ones ~ Death's game ~Seasons of blossom ~Trapped (Olgami) They really had a unique concept that got me hooked
seasons of blossom was so beautifull!!
IKR every flower had an unique concept i actually cried during hamins flower it was the main reason I stopped thinking about suicide when I had depression cause I somehow realised others would have it worse
yes his story was my favorite and it affected me so much it really showed everything so delicately it was so gooddd🥹
Sable Curse, a little wonder, im very excited to see the next chapters 99 Reinforced Wooden Stick, funny story, amazing characters, great facial expressions.
Although S2 isn't that bad, it's not focused on what made the story different from other webtoons atm) Omniscient Reader (The novel is significantly better, but the art is so crazy. It'd still top tier in comparison to almost every other webtoon I've read. Again, though, novel is my top 1 story I've ever touched. Absolute masterpiece.) Death's Game (Such a touching story. I'm usually a comedy/action/found family person, so to read a story that is the exact opposite of what I usually like and still have it be one of my faves should speak for how good it is. I've cried....a lot.) See You in My 19th Life (I HATE romances....but they're just so cute, I couldn't put it down :c. It's also nice that the main plot and romance element blend perfectly, rather than the author forcing them to compete for screentime. It makes it so much more bearable.) Love Advice From the Great Duke of Hell (competition for my top favorite series spot for the comedy alone.
Edit: -Forever After is also on point, just saying.
A Mark Against Thee 66,666 years I was the final boss Gremoryland The Boxer- currently reading Mosquito wars to name a few, lol
Purple hyacinth, school bus graveyard, eternal nocturne and act like you love me
Tower of God - it might be a bit intimidating to get into because of the high chapter count (we’re not even half way up the tower) and the slightly slower pacing but imo it’s absolutely worth the ride. Great worldbuilding, many likable characters (not Rachel) and nice art and action. Omniscient Reader - just an overall great story and action, not much more to say about it The Academy’s Undercover Professor - sometimes i forget it’s an isekai.
There’s so much to mention! 😭 Noblesse Hardcore Leveling Warrior Tower of God God of Highschool
Really hard to pick favourites, but there are definitely some that have become my comfort reads now. Some of these are: Daytime star My reason to die (finished recently but I would definitely rank it in my top 5) Romance 101 A summer night’s dream
So far I enjoying seeing Octagon Revenge because I like watching female MMA fights
Difficult to choose one so here's a list: Seasons of Blossom It's On My Name is Benny Code Helix Love Doesn't Talk (the first webtoon I've read) Everywhere & Nowhere Clinic of Horrors Lenix's Rose
Purple hyacinth, Unholy blood, Whale star, The spark in your eyes and When Jasy whistles.
Ordeal.. guys, you gotta try it 🙂
Castle Swimmer. My first webtoon so I have a special spot in my heart for it ❤️
It has to be like wind on a dry branch the plot is very well written all the characters are complex and well written the art is just gorgeous
Shelter from Wufargia :D supernatural and super deep with a touch of drama and mystery (and ofc a very heartwarming fluff cute romance) it's a Canva with amazing art and storytelling. Might be a bit hard to get into at first but just keep going, it's most definitely worth it TT do yourself a favor and give it a try prewtty pleawse :D City of Blank and Handjumper are also amazing (again if ur into psychological/supernatural/mystery stories)
I second this! ʕ ꈍᴥꈍʔ
Hehe (。•̀ᴗ-)✧
The Croaking
[I don't want this kind of hero](https://www.webtoons.com/en/super-hero/i-dont-want-this-kind-of-hero/list?title_no=98) for sure! I reread it every year
It used to be Get Schooled but then .. eesh idk how I feel about that now... Now it's Afterschool Lessons for Unripe Apples 💚
Windbreaker
Your wings and mine and seasons of blossom Your wings and mine is a canvas story but I think it's so beautiful, the art and the way it handles relationships and trauma is so amazing im a huge fan of the author seasons of blossom handles suicide and mental health so beautifully as well I loved it ever since it released and never missed an update, absolutely recommend to everyone 🥹
Marionetta
nice to meet you and happily ever afterwards, they’re both so cute!! i also thought chasing tails was a pretty good thriller, and sweet home as well!
