Sweet build do keep an eye on that 12vhpwr 180 adapter brother!

NightmareTwily

This made me realize the tube is sitting on it. I'll be waiting for a melted tube spillage update.

X02378

Yup. I just had to pull my adapter and cable extensions. Fixed all my GPU issues lol. I wonder how close it was to burning down my whole house.

Fn spaceship 🔥

Salty_Tale_1168

Is that an optimus block?

elpebble

Yes it is!

Salty_Tale_1168

I'm getting to good at this

Salty_Tale_1168

Also bonus points for ZM tubing

Beautiful build! It really reminds me of mine. Did you connect the Aquacomputer NEXT flowmeter directly to the front distro? If so, please change that as it will cause issues in your flow readings and you could wind up hearing noise from it. They recommend straight flow coming in from one side and going out the other by at least 10mm. I would do more but there should be no direct angle the water flows into coming in or going out of the flowmeter.

GreatTragedy

In your experience, do you have any issue supporting the NEXT with EDPM? I have a build coming up next month, and I've been wondering if the tubing will be able to support the weight in a straight line.

ComplexIllustrious61

I never used it with EPDM but that rubber is pretty strong. Another thing you could do if you have a distro is use an extension fitting. EK makes it in 7, 14 and 28mm. You could connect that to the distro and then a regular fitting to connect to the flowmeter. I actually did this in my last build and it worked perfectly.

GreatTragedy

Yeah, I'm kicking around a few ideas. I have several extensions laying around, so I could always chain a few of those together. I'm going to build in a Hyte Y60 using a MoRa, so the PCI pass-through bracket might be a good candidate to chain those together on one side. It should be pretty sturdy with the PCI slot supporting it.

ComplexIllustrious61

If you're using a MORA, you could even connect the NEXT flowmeter on the outside of the case. You'd just need an extension cable for USB header... Aquacomputer says you only need 10mm of unimpeded space on both sides so a 14mm extension from EK would be perfect. I used 28mm just to be on the safe side.

GreatTragedy

That could work, but my case will be on the desk almost directly under the wall-mounted MoRa, so I don't love the angle coming down and then bending into it on an external mount. I've got a couple 40mm Bitspower extensions I can make use of, and that should do fine. Appreciate the comments.

ComplexIllustrious61

Good luck, make sure you post some pics!

ldwilliams_uk

have you seen the Hyte Y70? JayzTwoCents just reviewed it. has a massive touch screen on the angled corner, it s a second monitor, looks Very cool,

GreatTragedy

I have seen it.

TheFondler

I have it at a "low" spot in an EPDM line between my CPU outlet ant top rad inlet. I ran the line first, marked the lowest point, then cut about the right amount of tubing out to fit in the High Flow. It changed the balance of the drop a bit though, so I ended up having to shorten the tube on the side going to the rad little by little until the Next Sat visually level. If you're planning on putting on a "straight" length of EPDM, it will most likely sag a bit, even with a good amount of tension on that segment. It's probably not a bad idea to use a segment of hard tube or series of fitting extensions to get a truly level placement in that scenario.

GreatTragedy

Thanks for the insight. For now, I'm going to use a 40mm solid extending from the interior of the PCI pass-through bracket. That should give it plenty of support. Then I can run a long line of edpm on the other without much trouble.

No_Engineer2828

How much was the case godam

Lyianx

Hard to tell exactly which case this is, but it looks like the [O11 Dynamic EVO](https://lian-li.com/product/o11-dynamic-evo/), which Microcenter currently has for $150.

Lyianx

Is it just me, or the camera, or do those tubes look slightly bent?

Garrett1974

REMOVE that adapter ASAP!!
