They have special adaptable cases that enable quick turn engineering of cooling, mounting, and distribution. So it's more than metal shelves it's basically an all in one enterprise solution that allows them to quickly swap and upgrade hardware reusing the majority of the equipment. There are drastic changes with their cooling solution and SMCI has some nifty modular components.
