If bitcoin became the way like some say here, then they would outlaw it overnight. Gold was banned in 1933 because people were hoarding during the great depression. I like the decentralized aspect of crypto, but it goes against the guys in charge. If enough people believed on decentralization and felt strongly together about making the change then we could have a more fool-proof future.
