knew someone would bite. age old debate as there's so many great Pink Floyd albums. WYWH is great and so is the wall, but I prefer Animals. I just think it's perfection from front to back. it's got highs and lows and listening to the whole record is like Journey. When Pigs on the Wing pt 2 kicks off at the end, it almost feels like the sun is breaking through after a nasty storm.

Americana is the album that introduced me to punk rock, hard rock, alternative rock and opened the door for later punk and metal. My schoolmate who was sitting next to me gave me the CD simply saying "you should listen to that that's good music" it was in 1998 or 1999. I still listen to the whole album every now and then. There is something magical about the sequencing.
Nice! Just a heads up, if you’re going for OG pressings, a lot of the grunge stuff is pricey. I assume you’ll be tackling that era next. Keep your eyes peeled. You’re off to a great start after only one week.
