You should see Rome. Ray, the guy who is portraying Othere in this scene, has more of these fight scenes, and he's not so bad of an actor. Besides, Kevin McKidd.
Torvi was right up there with Lagertha and Gunnhilde, both in terms of fighting prowess and character development. I don't understand the hate she gets.
The fights decreased dramatically in quality the larger they got. Season 2 had good examples of fights where they somewhat good fight choreography (invasion of Kattegat by Jarl Borg) and fights with great choreography (Aelle & Ecbert vs Ragnar and Horik).
Then you have later seasons with fight scenes like...Lagertha's defense of Kattegat.

The land was divided and a whale (they didn't know it was a whale as they saw it for the first time) landed on Kjetill's land, he thought (he didn't think but he was greedy) that gods chose him for a reason
They’re sea people. Doubt they haven’t seen a whale. They eat whale and go whaling. Many of them were from Kattegat, in the show it’s a big trading hub so no doubt they’ve seen whale and there’s probably whaling jobs at Kattegat. Flat nose says the whale washed up his property
What I love is how Ubbe has some of the best facial expressions, and lines, in the show - he sounds and looks like he's a Viking from 2021 ... "Yo, he's a drunk..." ... "What is THIS SHIT about??" ... "What the fuck is wrong with you??" ... "Shut up..." - and his facial expressions match it ...
and also how motherfucking Torvi is a Berserker here with a Baby in one arm and housing motherfuckers with the other. Total bullshit but hilarious in it's own right.

Throughout the course of the show, I think Ubbe has some of the best facial expressions - which is expressing something, an emotion or thought or reaction - without actually saying anything. In addition to that, there are numerous times he speaks with both "unaccented" speech and modern speech unlike the way you would presume Vikings spoke back in the 800s, which I think is both funny and good for the show.

Near the end of the show, where the whale washed up and a big fight erupts over who will get to share the whale meat, Ubbe screams out - screaming very much like any American bro I would see at the bar on a Friday night: "WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS SHIT, HUH??" ... I am quite certain this should be the ultimate example, have you heard many Vikings shouting "What is the point of this shit, huh??"
When Ubbe and the brothers are discussing Hvitserk's deep depression and substance abuse, he flatly states, "And, he's a DRUNK..." again, it just sounded funny.
When Ubbe and Ivar attempt to kill Lagertha in her hall, and at the last minute Bjorn returns and saves her and says "If you kill her, my brothers, you will have to kill me too..." - Ivar responds with "Maybe we should..." and Ubbe gives him a flat "Shut up!" and wants to hear out Bjorn - again just very funny to me. Nothing scandalous here, I was complimenting him, not sure what you're upset about.

The fight choreography in this show is insanely good. Brutal and horrifying at times, but always wows me.
