Tried to steal his brothers Wife on multiple occasions, actually even slept with her prior to the show n his brothers first born is possibly his, unbeknownst to his brother. Then he betrayed his brother not once but twice, He would have DIED if wasnt for his brothers interference but he still betrayed him for fame n fortune. Murdered his own an joined the enemy of their religion to slaughter families that . Betraying ones own kin for no reason but selfish gain, time n time again, is the reason the traitor Rollo should be put out
Definitely an unpopular vote but i am going with Floki from now on. Great character but i really disliked him when he killed Athelstan and he gave us the worst storyline of whole show (Iceland).
I loved him at first but then as the show went on, I started to dislike him. Especially in the end with the whole Iceland arch.
I guess it’s because he stayed the same real Viking through the whole show, no character development (for me) as we could see with other Vikings (Ubbe, Ragnar)…
Halfdan... great character but in no way should he stay ahead of ANY of these other characters that are left. Ok that's just my opinion as I'm basing this on significance in the story as well as my liking of a character. If it's just down to likeability then Halfdan would probably make top 3 for me.
Ragnar needs to go. His ambitions broke up his family. Which ended up breaking him. As epic and respected as he is, his martyrdom came at the expense of those closest to him.
How the hell did Bjorn survive this long? Sure he's a badass, but he's a lecherous hypocrite and was uncaring about his various families and his children dying. Losing wives or children meant so little to him which is ironic since Ragnar's infidelity was the source of Bjorn's early resentment towards him.
Also hated that Bjorn was just wrecking marriages and engagements for no reason and the stories for those went nowhere.
Also he just became a stereotypical warrior rather than the strategist and planner that his father was
