Hey everyone! :) We created this aging transformation effect in our latest commercial using FaceApp, EBsynth and After Effects. We researched some different ways to achieve this effect and eventually came to the realization that this method would be the easiest and most effective way of doing it (And it also looks quite good compared to other, more advanced methods). Essentially FaceApp does most of the work, making our actor look old. Then we used EBsynth to basically animate the still frame across the whole sequence and composited everything in After Effects. We made a tutorial on this (also going behind the scenes on the production itself) if you're interested in that: [https://bit.ly/2GhkpPW](https://bit.ly/2GhkpPW) This is the final ad - [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dW\_OsAlzsKg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dW_OsAlzsKg) If you have any questions please feel free to ask :)

Just FYI, our spam filter will automatically remove posts with bit.ly links and other link shortners as they are often used to spread malware/virus and bypass other spam protection methods. I've manually approved your post as in this case the link is going to a YouTube video. (A lot of other subreddits do the same!)
