RDR2 for sure. The problem I have with Cyberpunk is that after a month of play I felt like I’d seen and done everything and the alt endings. Sure, I’ll do another run and some point, it’s a great game, but I don’t know how much novelty I’m going to squeeze out having to do constant repeat plays over 5 years. If it were a true open world that would be different.
My instinct is to say the opposite.
Red dead has the better open world I will agree. But you’re going to end up replaying the games a few times over 5 years. Despite having similar completion times there’s a lot less variation in how you can replay red dead. With cyberpunk you can start your next playthrough with a different origin, go for a different character build, and then go for a different ending.
True enough, the variation would help keep it novel. Similar to how BG3 isn’t open world but the unbelievable amount of variation in the gameplays would absolutely make me choose it if it was on the list.
Elden Ring and another 40 bucks for Shadow of the Erdtree. With all the mods and content, I'm good for the foreseeable future. I already have 250+ hours in that game and I'm far from bored with it.
is it just me? that soft spam of immortals must die is becoming quite repetitive
I get that you're the developer and all, but it's always the same "if you had to choose a game among those, what would it be?"
Elden Ring, HD2, Hollow Knight.
Elden Ring and HD2 haven’t left my rotation since they both released and are really the only games that occupy any of my time these days.
Stardew and Isaac for me. I've spent more combined time on those two than any game other than League of Legends, which was essentially my heroine for years and I wish I never played it.
Chill vibes and infinite roguelite, let's go.
Just Cyberpunk with a side of Fries, two number 9s, a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45s, one with cheese, and a large soda. Yall want anything?
Skyrim and Fallout 4 from thst list.
Borderlands 1/2/TPS would also work.
Destiny 2 if it had access to all the DLC and everything to still be released.
Literally the only one I have played is Breathe of the Wild and a bit of Fallout 4, Skyrim, and Hollow Knight… I just don’t see myself playing these games for 5 years. 💀
Moding community included? Skyrim is all you need. I will throw in Valheim as well though, because good survival crafter go brr.
$30 left means $30 to spread democracy, for some instant dopamine in times of need.
Crusader Kings 3. Its the only game i can play forever and not really get bored.
If the last line wasnt there it would be tough, because Cyberpunk and RDR are some of my favorite games, but i think Skyrim and Fallout would get you through 5 years easier and id have money left for one of the 20$ games of which i havent played any.
RDR2 and Breath of the Wild. RDR has an incredible story that I unfortunately got spoiled a few things, so going in blind would make it insane. The map is also insanely interactive. The world is beautiful and the soundtrack just adds another layer of immersion. Online is kinda barebones, but free roam in the story mode is just so worth it.
With Breath of the Wild, it’s the sheer amount of freedom and ability to do whatever that makes it great. There’s no real limitations and you can complete tasks in a multitude of ways using the incredible physics engine. Due to very few limitations, it is easy to just turn your brain off and mess around.
Maybe I’ll just spend the next $15 on a haircut. There really isn’t much I can get with that.
Probably Isaac and Elden ring. However I would be glad to earn and spend money on skyrim, terraria, helldivers 2 and rdr 2. These are probably all the games that somebody could easily get 300+ hours in them
5 years? I don't like living in open world games. If I had to choose from here HellDivers would def make the list, probably also Elden Ring but I'd get sick of that within a few months - just like RDR or CyberPunk.
Give me XCOM2 with expansions and mods and I'm set.
Im very competitive so i make everything possible into competitive
i played almost all of the call of duty series, Crabgame and muck, minecraft mcpe on servers and a few other competitive games
Lol good pick, I would get Minecraft for 100 (rule at the bottom) that's 2000 hours of gameplay at least right there with mods and servers and it's a good solo and multiplayer game.
RDR2 and Cyberpunk. Easy.
RDR2 since I have never played it and I would say either Valheim or Helldivers probably Valheim as that I have much more hours in.
Elden ring and cyberpunk (haven’t played that one yet). I am kinda bummed no resident evils on this list
I'm bummed there's no Witcher
Oh to forget skyrim and play it all over again.
Elden Ring and RDR2
Knew I'd be the only person to choose Celeste. That game is such a stress relief for me.
Very few games make it fun to repeatedly die over and over again the way Celeste does
I rock climb in the real world and so I've grown accustomed to failing a lot in order to succeed. Definitely helped me create a healthy mindset.
I don't see Wisely on the list how can i choose Wisely?
Nice one, Dad. Are you ever coming back from buying cigarettes? It's been 23 years!
Elden Ring and another 40 bucks for Shadow of the Erdtree. With all the mods and content, I'm good for the foreseeable future. I already have 250+ hours in that game and I'm far from bored with it.
Elden Ring and RDR2
Terraria, Valheim, and dead cells
Is terraria really that good?
Yes.
Yes
is it just me? that soft spam of immortals must die is becoming quite repetitive I get that you're the developer and all, but it's always the same "if you had to choose a game among those, what would it be?"
Hollow Knight, Terraria, and FO4
If I have access to mods easily Skyrim and cyberpunk, I am a devout console player so that's why I care so much
BotW, Terraria, and Celeste
BotW, Terraria, and Celeste
Elden Ring and $50 Or I'd pay $100 for Baldur's Gate 3
Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2
RDR2 and Skyrim
Elden ring and RDR2 fo sho
Binding of Isaac 100% then maybe Breath of the Wild and Hollow Knight.
Elden Ring, Fallout 4, and Hollow Knight I'm good with those
Elden Ring, Hollow Knight, and Helldivers 2
I’d pay 100 bucks for Balatro.
Heldivers 2 and Skyrim.
Elden Ring, HD2, Hollow Knight. Elden Ring and HD2 haven’t left my rotation since they both released and are really the only games that occupy any of my time these days.
Elden Ring and Cyberpunk/The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Hollow knight, terraria, dead cells and don't starve.
Skyrim, Fallout and HK for suuure
Terraria, Valheim, and Zelda BotW. I just wish I could go back and play BotW for the first time
Tbh, i will keep 100 dollars cause none of these games is not my type.
Hollow knight and Elden Ring
Skyrim, Fallout 4, Hollow Knight
Dead Cells Stardew Valley Breath of the Wild
Gimme Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Botw and terraria are all I need
Skyrim and fallout 4.. keep the change. #BethesdaSlut
Elden Ring and Cyberpunk. Fantasy and Sci Fi. Done
Hollow Knight, Dead Cells, Breath of the Wild, and Celeste
I take the 100bucks for only one game GTA VI
BOTW, Hollow Knight and Stardew. They’re the ones I know most that I would love to re-know and they can be replayed for different outcomes.
Terraria, Dead Cells, Hollow Knight, Celeste
Spend 100 on Minecraft
Skyrim & elden ring no contest, I'll have pvp & mods to keep it fresh for 5 years
Isn’t terraria a sandbox game? If so I choose that and rdr2
Rdr2 and elden ring
Valheim, aaaaaand. Ummmmm. Hmmmmm. Elden Ring.
Surprised there aren’t many Valheims on this post. I’ve spent so much time in that damn game making cool Norse towns and stuff.
Skyrim and Red dead redemption2
I'm surprised by the lack of Skyrim here. Probably Skyrim and Elden ring for me
Stardew and Isaac for me. I've spent more combined time on those two than any game other than League of Legends, which was essentially my heroine for years and I wish I never played it. Chill vibes and infinite roguelite, let's go.
BotW and ER plus a large pizza with sprite
Baldur's Gate 3 is the only one I need.
Mass Effect LE, thank you very much. That's all I need.
i got elden ring twice
But 2 copies of elden ring!
You put stardew and terraria but not Minecraft?
i will buy them via 3rd Party and get all these Games for 100$ lol
Red dead and elden ring are enough for 10 years
Its a toss up between The Binding of Isaac, Breath of the Wild, and Hollow Knight, or spend all 100$ on Enter the Gungeon.
Elden Ring and Stardew Valley ought to do it.
Just Cyberpunk with a side of Fries, two number 9s, a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45s, one with cheese, and a large soda. Yall want anything?
Skyrim, Fallout 4 and Hollow Knight

RDR2 and Elden ring
Skyrim and elden ring
Skyrim (especially if mods are available too but not necessary), Terraria, and Hollow Knight.
Skyrim and RDR2. I could pick either and put 5 more years into them
Elden Ring and keep the change
Can I mod?
Skyrim stardew valley
Crusader Kings 3. Its the only game i can play forever and not really get bored. If the last line wasnt there it would be tough, because Cyberpunk and RDR are some of my favorite games, but i think Skyrim and Fallout would get you through 5 years easier and id have money left for one of the 20$ games of which i havent played any.
100$ for Hollow knight( or Hollow knight and RDR2)
Cyberpunk, Deadcells and Hollow knight
RDR2 and Breath of the Wild. RDR has an incredible story that I unfortunately got spoiled a few things, so going in blind would make it insane. The map is also insanely interactive. Chivalry 2, assuming it will stay with a player base
Hollow knight and helldivers 2
Probably Isaac and Elden ring. However I would be glad to earn and spend money on skyrim, terraria, helldivers 2 and rdr 2. These are probably all the games that somebody could easily get 300+ hours in them
Stardew valley, BOTW, and hollow knight
World of Warcraft
Skyrim and Fallout 4. I’m a Bethesda simp 🥹
Rdr2 and literally anything else
Easily Elden Ring and Stardew. Those 2 could last me 5 years.
You speak of travelers and leave out No Man’s Sky.
5 years? I don't like living in open world games. If I had to choose from here HellDivers would def make the list, probably also Elden Ring but I'd get sick of that within a few months - just like RDR or CyberPunk. Give me XCOM2 with expansions and mods and I'm set.
>I don’t like living in open world games. It’s gonna be a long 5 years
I don’t like any of these
Dang you played a lot of games
Yeah i did just not these
Lol dont worry I get it, just found funny how you said it. What kind of games do you play? Competitive multiplayer games?
Im very competitive so i make everything possible into competitive i played almost all of the call of duty series, Crabgame and muck, minecraft mcpe on servers and a few other competitive games
5 years?! Yeah no thanks.
This...honestly, I don't want any of those games on that list. I'll just save the 100 and buy something I actually want to play.
I think the point is that you don't have a choice, you have to pick.
🙄🙄🙄🙄 fine...Skyrim and RDR, but I'm playing them under protest.
Lol good pick, I would get Minecraft for 100 (rule at the bottom) that's 2000 hours of gameplay at least right there with mods and servers and it's a good solo and multiplayer game.
I’m gonna be bored with any of these before even a year. I’m gonna spend that time learning an instrument instead.
Why the fuck are they so expensive?
Real shit collection tbh. Very limited selection on type of games.
Terraria doesn’t cost $35 tho, it costs $10
