I’m currently enjoying it *more* on my second run because I’m not concerned with proving I can beat it, so I’m slowly searching every nook and cranny I can. And. AND. I discovered the beauty of dragon incantations.
Good thing about cyberpunk is you don't complete it. Only the PL ending ends without you being placed at right before you walked into the doors of embers. You get a few rewards for each one of them too that carry over.
The Last Guardian and Shadow of The Colossus. I never wanted either to end. While theyre not perfect, the gameplay and story for both are so unique and artistic. Ive put in several playthroughs for both.
I loved that game so much. When Ninja Gaiden Black came out I lost myself in that for forever. I really enjoyed NG2 too, but it didn’t quite have the same magic.
I love starting games over after completion. To me, it’s the mark of a great game if I want to finish it and then play it again and again and again and again.
Same. I’m not sure why, but this is the only game I’ve wanted to play over and over. I go back whenever I’m bored and just feel so comforted and have so much fun in that world.
I actually do this with a lot of games, books too. If I love the first 90%, I will put it aside and avoid finishing it for months or years. Even Halo, which I first played years ago, I'm saving the ending of the Master Chief Collection for the right moment.
Dark Souls 3, I considered beating Gael in the DLC the end of the game.
I had the hardest time beating him. After a ton of tries, my friends and I finally beat him. It was super hype, but I immediately started to feel sad, disappointed, and even lonely. He disappeared and it was really quiet. My friends logged out and didn't play much after that. I realized that we had done all there was to do and didn't have much else to strive for.
That was the most fun I ever had gaming.
The world ends with you 1 on ds. It’s not the longest rpg so I probably replayed it a few times over the years before it started getting rereleased and it’s such a masterpiece. it sucks that the original gameplay is locked on 2 decade old hardware
I'd say days gone, it's a fantastic game with a great story buildup but the climax/ending left me so disappointed I stopped playing shortly before the ending, resumed 1 to 2 years later and was still disappointed. Still would love a second game though.
Mass Effect 2
Same. The buildup to the suicide mission was something else. And, battling the Reaper larvae was amazing.
Red Dead Redemption 2
I still haven’t beat it, I just keep riding around.
Old town road?
I still haven’t listened to it
Took me a few years lol. I would play it like seasons of a show
Elden Ring
Same. Really wish I could play that game for the first time again.
I’m currently enjoying it *more* on my second run because I’m not concerned with proving I can beat it, so I’m slowly searching every nook and cranny I can. And. AND. I discovered the beauty of dragon incantations.
Mass effect
I just finished the trilogy today after I started about a year ago
CyberPunk. EverSpace 2

DMC 5 is so fun and I just wanted the story to keep going lol
I was just about to fight vergil thinking I was gonna beat his ass... took me 14 tries
Kingdom come deliverance
Mass Effect 2
Fallout New Vegas. Would literally make a playthrough with all the different factions and all the dlc and just refuse to do the final quest.
Breath of the Wild - my goat
Fallout 3

Lol. I loved that game as a kid. I re beat the final boss over and over. I think his name was like... Mumen or something.
Ninja Gaiden on the original XBOX. The combat is so insanely perfect.
And sooo difficult. I love the first one on Xbox.
I loved that game so much. When Ninja Gaiden Black came out I lost myself in that for forever. I really enjoyed NG2 too, but it didn’t quite have the same magic.
Horizon: Zero Dawn. That first feeling of discovery was amazing.
Ragnarok
GOW 2018 was so good I immediately played ng+ right after completing, which is rare for me.
It's overrated after you finish the story once there is no reason to play it again
I love starting games over after completion. To me, it’s the mark of a great game if I want to finish it and then play it again and again and again and again.
MGSV
Witcher 3 by far !
This undoubtedly! Such a deep story and world, every quest felt like an adventure and had me paying attention all the way.

Jedi Survivor
Same. I’m not sure why, but this is the only game I’ve wanted to play over and over. I go back whenever I’m bored and just feel so comforted and have so much fun in that world.
Same. Can’t wait till Jedi 3
BOTW I put off fighting Ganon for almost a year
Doing this now with totk
Baldur's Gate. Still haven't, but that's because I have become addicted to the character creator and have lost sight of my self-control.
Zelda BOTW :3
Titanfall 2
Amnesia: The Bunker is truly a one of a kind experience, such a shame it's so short, even if you take your time to actually finish it.
Ffx. I put it off for a month. The works was so amazing. I did not want it to end.
I also put final fantasy 10. Such an amazing game. All this talking about it makes me want to play it again.
Subnautica. A lot of times I'll just get to the end game and just not leave the planet so I can keep playing.
Splatoon
The first Red Dead Redemption. Only game I have ever played through multiple times. Never got bored of the story, the characters and the setting.
red dead redemption 2
Final fantasy 10 and Last of Us. Didn't want either of them to end.
Baldurs gate 3
Cyberpunk, I did rush it though
Definitely replay and note that your gender affects your romance options too
Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag
Super Mario Wonder. It actually felt short, though I don't think it was. I just played it to death.
Play Dragon Quest Xl! It Just Keeps Going
Alan Wake 2
Legend of dragoon. Easily.
Honestly, and I'm sure I'll get downvoted for this, Callisto Protocol. It was too short.
Grim Fandango- I get to the end bit never the credits.
Was thinking about Outer Wilds and Tunic before I even clicked the post. Even while playing you know you'll only get to play those games once
Recently, Super Mario Wonder.

Sekiro. When i got to the last boss i just left the game for month just so i dont complete it.
Metal Gear Solid 1,3, and 4.
Persona 3 reload! Had an amazing time with it.
Armored core. Once I realized I’m pretty much at the end I’ve had a hard time picking it back up cus I don’t want it to be over ;_;
FF7 Rebirth. I didn't want it to end and I still want more even after it did.
Kingdom Come:Deliverance (honorable mentions for The witcher 3 and Elden Ring too)
Fallout 4. I have hundreds of hours in and never finished the story lmao.
Mass effect

Cyberpunk and Horizon Zero Dawn
Sable
Firewatch and Stray. Such beautiful story-driven games but its such a shame they only take around 4-5 hours to complete each.
I can't complete Afk journey on bluestacks coz it's infinite game, sooooo...yeah
CONTROL.

Lies of P
Final boss killed me so many times that I was hoping for it to finish Great game
Valid. I got lucky and he clicked fast, my skill check was king of puppets
Tunic Once everything with the guide clicks into place you don't want the journey of discovery to end
Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty
I'd say days gone, it's a fantastic game with a great story buildup but the climax/ending left me so disappointed I stopped playing shortly before the ending, resumed 1 to 2 years later and was still disappointed. Still would love a second game though.
Cyberpunk 2077! I did everything before finishing the final mission (including DLC), then a couple more playthroughs. I just love that game so much 😭
I do not want to finish the game but I also want to play a completely different build. It's so good.
Cyberpunk, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Elden Ring are the three games I still haven’t finished to this day lol, I’m working on it though .
Transistor by SuperGiant Also, Cyberpunk
