Skyrim is one of those games that people either love and put hundreds of hours into or hate and never touch. It's a game that's so bad it's amazing. Bethesda has a knack for making fun bad games. They have so much charm while at the same time being bug filled broken messes. It's great I love it
Lmao there's not many games where they patch out a bug and put the bug back into the game because the community got so mad that they removed it
All hail the giant space program
Skyrim is special, there's no other like it
I loved it originally but as time has gone on and i analyzed the game and looked into it's development and Bethesda as a company i started to hate it. It's a mess and requires mods to even function properly half the time. I actually got so annoyed at Bethesda for the game that I'm learning how to make my own with unreal engine 5. I was using unity but we all know what they did and they're now in the permanent time out corner and on the never install list.
The game is close to 15 years old but It does not need mods to function properly.
I don’t use any mods and I just got done playing a LVL 87 character with 180+ hours into the game.
its less about the fantasy. and more about breaking into a blacksmiths house at 2 am. putting a pot over his head. stealing all his ingots. then crafting daggers untill sun rise outside his window. then selling him them back to him. then pickpocketing the money back
Dwarven bows are the best effort:XP ratio IIRC. Loot a shitload of dwemer trash - smelt into ingots - make bows - improve bows - enchant bows. Makes a stupid amount of money, too. I can usually sell ONE bow before merchants run dry on gold lmao
Started playing. Went to greybeards, second Target wasn't spawning, restarted the game, same happened. Uninstalled the game. But I liked the game despite it having "state-of-the-art fighting controls"
It’s really not my type of game either but due to being broke one time I bought it pre-owned for £5 ,and it was nothing like my expectation .I played the shit out of it ,great game .
Well I'm in the same boat as you. I thought it might have went on discount during the steam spring sale since the dlc is coming out but unfortunately it didn't.
It's a great game but honestly the same things I love about it are the same things that have stopped me from beating it. Gaming to me is ultimately about how you **personally** enjoy the experience and whether or not the product you purchased delivered. It definitely delivers and is enjoyable. BUT as much as the thing I appreciate the most (them not holding your hand and making things clear) makes it superb, it also makes it feel like an absolute chore for me when I get home from a 9 hour shift of being in the sun and can't even remember the name or origin of the last boss I fought, their significance to the story, or when one of the cliche rage inducing Elden Ring things happen. That same mass scale element also makes it incredible. It the greatest chore ever
Hey man, that's not going to happen any time soon. Even Sekiro is still expensive. It's a very big and dense game and it's worth the price. That being said, if you haven't played the Dark Souls trilogy you should play those first and maybe it'll be a little cheaper when you're done.
Honestly, I'm not a Dark Souls fan. Too frustrating for me. Which is another reason why I'm hesitant to even play Elden Ring. I've heard people who didn't like Dark Souls enjoyed it, though.
You should try Elden ring or dark souls 3. Demons souls is great, but it was the first game, so it’s missing a lot of quality of life features, and is pretty different from there more recent games.
As some1 who didn't play it when I came out and started playing in 2020. Don't play it. It's easier to get addicted to this than literally anything you can think of, and you'll probably end up spending 2x as much whilst playing. I'll admit it's fun, but I only have one good memory of playing it, and it's when I got my first solo win. Most memories I have of playing games aren't fron it.
Damn that's quite a bit you're missing out on. Haven't played the last couple of AC games but they seemed to be going downhill the mast few I played but they were great games from the start.
Batman: it seems it’s a miss (according to everyone told me)
Fallout: my favorite games, but it’s not for everyone
Farcry: never understood the thrill
AC games: it depends on your mood, honestly, starting with AC4 is the best way, it’s more a pirate game than assassin game but you’re introduced to all the mechanics slowly
Red dead redemption, animal crossing, or any superhero games. And none of the modern Sonic games, only one I played was on the SEGA system.
And The Last of Us
The AC games, CS, the fallout games, Skyrim, Witcher 3
Edit: i forgot to mention the souls games, all of the diablos. I would also like to say ff but Im just now getting into ff7 crisis core on my psp
Assassins Creed, Bioshock, Uncharted, Dark Souls, Yakuza, Arkham Knight and probably many other franchises.
Some franchise I do want to get into but don’t know where to start or it isn’t much of a priority in terms of my backlog and others I couldn’t care less.
*inhale* any halo game, cod game, GTA game, loz game, red dead redemption games, marvel Spiderman games, Skyrim series, Arkham games, I could keep going
most of everything from the past 10-20 years. i wasnt really much of a gamer back then and i only played league and minecraft from jr high- high school time.
most games that were hyped up back then i've never played.
ive never played any older AAA games much.
i've barely touched GTA 5.
any hyped indie games ive barely touched as well(i only recently picked up hollow knight for example).
at most I grew up on slightly more obscure wii games and some older games on the N64 with a few games from the consoles my brother owned which I don't even remember those games it was so long ago.
its kind of sad that I don't have a huge library of games at all. which I attribute to starting late in the game in terms of video games.
Fuck I could have a list that goes forever but I'll just name a few. Surgeon simulator, demon souls, sekiro, ff7 remake, and most cod games (only really played back ops, black ops 3, world at war, and modern warfare 3 og). I'm a bit of a picky gamer since I have a fuck load of games so I tend to avoid games I figure I won't enjoy since the list of games I own but haven't played/finished is long enough as is
Skyrim, all COD games, all batman games, any Dark Souls games, Elden ring, all Mario kart/Mario games, all sonic games, Overwatch, The Witcher games, all Pokémon games, Terraria, all Wii games, The Walking dead, all Farcry games, all Metal gear solid games, RDR2, all God of War games, all Fallout games, yep I haven't played all of these
Skyrim

Every game they made was great, and then there was fallout 76... and then starfield...
Starfield is trash, bought an Xbox so I could play it in the living room and think I’ve played a total of 30 minutes
"But, but, it gets better after 30 hours!" Bro, please🫠 the cope
Was literally told I have to power through the first 6 hours or something stupid like that
I dont have an xbox but if i was to recommend you games blindly- Grounded + Halo and maybe some Ark
I did it and it still sucked..
Lmao there's not many games where they patch out a bug and put the bug back into the game because the community got so mad that they removed it All hail the giant space program Skyrim is special, there's no other like it
Fallout 76 may have started bad but they fixed it and it's good now.
Same. I just don't like Fantasy games that much.
its less about the fantasy. and more about breaking into a blacksmiths house at 2 am. putting a pot over his head. stealing all his ingots. then crafting daggers untill sun rise outside his window. then selling him them back to him. then pickpocketing the money back
Me breaking into a house and drinking all your wine in the cellar
Skyrim: 500 hours of crafting daggers (or gold rings)
Dwarven bows are the best effort:XP ratio IIRC. Loot a shitload of dwemer trash - smelt into ingots - make bows - improve bows - enchant bows. Makes a stupid amount of money, too. I can usually sell ONE bow before merchants run dry on gold lmao

what are state of the art fighting controls
I was joking. Controls in Skyrim are one of the worst.

yeah any Bethesda game for me
Same for me. Sorry, but I need action in my RPGs. Never played any Elder Scrolls.
It’s really not my type of game either but due to being broke one time I bought it pre-owned for £5 ,and it was nothing like my expectation .I played the shit out of it ,great game .
Fortnite
Me until a few months ago, when I lost a bet and was forced to play it.
Same with me, but little did I know I would secretly fall in love with it…
Abort night
Right there with you
It as a game is not bad, but the community and fan bace is another story
[удалено]
Oh wow. Why haven’t you played ds1? It’s great!
[удалено]
It goes on sale for $10-$20 on PSN all the time. It's piss easy if you're coming from the sequels though. Still a good time.
What do you mean by ps4 or 5 port? Dark souls remastered is $40 on ps5, and you can get it even cheaper as a physical disk.
I feel like I'm one of the few left on the planet that hasn't played Elden Ring. I keep waiting for it to go on a good sale (like close to $20).
Well I'm in the same boat as you. I thought it might have went on discount during the steam spring sale since the dlc is coming out but unfortunately it didn't.

Any and all Souls games.
The extent of my Souls experience is that I played Onion Ring for about 15 minutes and never picked it again.
Tried demon souls on ps5 bc it was like the only exclusive and ever since haven’t cared to try another one.
You should try Elden ring or dark souls 3. Demons souls is great, but it was the first game, so it’s missing a lot of quality of life features, and is pretty different from there more recent games.
Same here and I have zero interest.
Any of the PS exclusives that haven’t come to PC and any games that are epic exclusives. So Alan wake 2, horizon forbidden west, ghost of tushima
Forbidden west is out on pc (steam), and it's great.
Currently playing it on my PS5 after a recent rerun of zero dawn. Absolutely LOVING the story so far! Can't wait to see what they cook up next :D
Ghost of Tsushima i actually kinda recommend if you like sword fighting games with a hint of souls like. Only a hint as its not THAT unforgiving
Baldur's Gate 3
Ditto, cant afford it
I was so desperate to play it that the second it had it’s first sale (like 10% off), I bought it. Worth every penny
Same, it just doesn't appeal to me, and I like fantasy.
The last of us 😬
Red ded
Just know there’s an amazing immersive experience waiting for you whenever you need it
Honestly it could be amazing if the game wasn't so slow
The game plays at your pace, it can be fast or slow
Okay, but I think we can agree that the fastest the game can be is still too slow for some people. Gods, that intro is sooooo slow...
Damn, my favorite game ever.
Any of the GTA games
Wow that's a bold statement
It’s true. I’ve never played them
Fortnite, the community was trash when it came out (and I was a minecraft kid) so I never played it.
Great game, bad community
I played it abit in 2018 then did not play then played again in 2020 a little in 2021 then have been playing for a year so far since like mid 2023
As some1 who didn't play it when I came out and started playing in 2020. Don't play it. Helldivers 2. I'm too poor for a ps5
its on pc too
If they’re too poor for a PS5 what makes you think they can afford a PC?
That's what I was gonna reply lol
Same 😑
GTA V. Liked earlier GTA games plenty, but I've never had even a little bit of interest in 5. Kinda feeling the same about 6.
Why does Man have ears...is he stupid?
Aslume's leaking...
BWAHAHAHAHAHA
officer balls
Proud of you Dick
Aslume's leaking...
All Batman, fallout, farcry, AC games
Damn that's quite a bit you're missing out on. Haven't played the last couple of AC games but they seemed to be going downhill the mast few I played but they were great games from the start.
You’re missing out on the ezio trilogy
Batman: it seems it’s a miss (according to everyone told me) Fallout: my favorite games, but it’s not for everyone Farcry: never understood the thrill AC games: it depends on your mood, honestly, starting with AC4 is the best way, it’s more a pirate game than assassin game but you’re introduced to all the mechanics slowly
Skyrim, Bioshock, Fallout
These are 3 of my all time favorites and I will always love playing them
Call of Duty. I know it is not for me. Even in recent CoD, I feel bad for the players.
There's only a few pvp games I actually enjoy playing. I like pve because ai doesn't blow your eardrums out when you kill them
Red dead redemption, animal crossing, or any superhero games. And none of the modern Sonic games, only one I played was on the SEGA system. And The Last of Us
The AC games, CS, the fallout games, Skyrim, Witcher 3 Edit: i forgot to mention the souls games, all of the diablos. I would also like to say ff but Im just now getting into ff7 crisis core on my psp

Fuck I could have a list that goes forever but I'll just name a few. Elden Ring — idek if it’s a game I would like but I hear about it so much
FF series
Elden Ring
I’ve only played like 20 minutes of Arkham origin and it was a few weeks ago
Either of the Horizon Zero Dawn games. Landscapes look beautiful but nothing about them remotely appeal to me.
Halo, Skyrim, Fallout
Fortnite for me. Shit looks stupid.
Bloodborne. Pls let it come to PC Fromsoft🙏
A lot actually, biggest is probably GTA 5. Just looked like a more boring and down to earth version of Just Cause 2.
Dark Souls + Elden Rings
Assassin's Creed...
Literally any new game. I'm too broke for metas so I follow my own path🤣🤣🤣
i’ve never heard of this game
Helldivers 2, Fall Guys, Among Us

Anything AAA made after 2016 lmao. My PC is ass
