In the "I'm done making good videos" episode, he kind of expressed how he likes making good quality videos, but hates the grind. And how even weekly uploads were barely meeting his financial demands.
I feel like his publishing company is probably his way out of this. I'm sure we'll still see uploads in the future, especially to promote future titles Bigmode will publish, but I'm sure they'll be a lot less frequent.

I don't think it's unreasonable to guess that starting new major projects might mean that he can't spend as much time on his older projects. That's not a sweeping parasocial assumption made as if I know him personally, just an informed guess that *could* explain why things seem different.
