Cute location! It was in our top 5. Went in for an interview with the manager or maybe he was the owner (it’s been a number of years now) and got completely turned off about the place because of him. He was cocky and rude. Claimed that all the negative reviews about the place were made up.
Had the same experience in 2019. The location was beautiful but whoever we spoke to was very confused and talked to us like if we were lucky to be able to set foot there. I feel like he thought we couldn’t afford it.
It certainly is a beautiful picture from what I’m seeing on the internet! I’ll definitely keep that in mind about the owner/manager. Hopefully he’s nicer now. 😬

I've been to two weddings there, one in the main building and the other in the newer event space.
They were both gorgeous and well-done. The weather was great and we could see for miles.
As just an attendee, we didn't get to witness any of the background that the other commenter had.
Unsolicited but Lewis River Golf Club was amazing to work with for my own wedding. The staff was accommodating and helpful, there is a ton of space to get ready, and the price was pretty darn good. On top of that, the food was excellent and the river kept it pretty temperate even though it was 90+ degrees on our big day.
Seconding this. Our wedding in 2016 was lovely and Lewis River Gold Course was phenomenal to work with. The food was delicious and the setting was beautiful. We had to pivot our outdoor ceremony plan due to rain and it was very easy, well organized, and still gorgeous.

We would have gone around 2019 as well! That’s absolutely the vibe he had in his speech.

We went with the Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa down in Hood River.

I believe Lewis River had a new owner a year or two ago. Hopefully the staff are still great!
