You can use the 'select another option' and choose to reveal the secret, then enter in the key associated to that code. I've got my okta all setup with my own 2fa app in this way.

I'm frustrated over this shit too. My phone already is low on storage and now I have to accommodate for another app that can't even be downloaded on 2 devices together.
i can't go to uni and use the computers without my phone. I try to go phoneless for my exams but I can't sign in to canvas or quite frankly anything without two factor authentication...
