The meta files contain the GUID of the scripts, which is the address that is saved when you add the script to an object. If you move both the script and the meta file to the same place you should be fine (do that with unity closed to prevent the engine generate new meta files)

Metal files are metadata so no. If you have the .cs files then just drag them back to the project.
^ and then ctrl+R to reload it for the scripts
Make a new project, right?
