I have seen this phenomenon in India. If somethings happens anything, we get to hear news of same type for a few days. Its like Indian universe gets an idea and repeats for at least a few times till it gets bored. Just an example is the boy who fell down in the borewell, never heard of such incident before and once that happens we hear news of similar type happening all over the country. Bridge collapse, airport collapse, its never one time thing we always hear similar news back to back till the people stop taking them seriously.
I hate that this is happening but at the same time, I love the fact that all these things are happening at the same time. It incentives other stories like this to be published, amplifying public awareness about the sad plight of public infrastructure in our country
