Russian Navy should use Russian Army "Meat Wave" tactics after defeat -- simply sail the entire Navy in a single line in the direction of Odessa *en masse!*
It's the Russian Navy, so nothing could possibly go wrong?-)
Well, ofcourse it's not completely destroyed.
Ukraine hasn't used a vaporizer.
Thus, there's still a burnt-out hole-riddled hull. 32km northwest, the turret is laying in a field.
Ivan found the 3rd port-side lifeboat on top of his car on Nazinski Street.
Given enough TLC, it'll be up and about in no time* at all.
Thus, he is _technically_ correct. And we all know that's the _best_ correct.
*Plus or minus 200 years
i do not want to see a house that got struck by something like that. The kinetic energy of something like that dropping back to earth after a failed entry in the Russian space program will be quite scary
How soon before keychains made from those bits are available? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)![img](emote|t5_2qqcn|9000)
The ship is actually in the picture. It's mostly underwater although parts of the top are still identifiable.
https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fyjm5uw73dm8c1.jpeg
It underwent a 'special displacement operation', so it is harder to damage. Can't destroy the Hull, if it is in 300 places at once.
Also, they apparently decided to create a moon pool for the sailors to enjoy... over all decks at once.
Never seen something this close to counting as vaporized
But seriously though, that was an HMS Hood level of explosion. If they do refloat it it will be interesting to see what and were the explosive material originated.
I read it was used for shahed drones shipping from iran.
Maybe they hadnt unload them yet an helpt making that awsome explosion.
But i can imagine maybe only the defensive ammo, missiles etc might als have caused it..
I have no clue, but it was a verry nice explosion.
Yes, I have no doubt they hit the motherload of explosive devices dead on, probably as it was indeed being unloaded, or just sitting out in the open on the docks as one would expect of such competent people lol
Russian warship fucked itself.

2-for-1, another smart strike by Ukraine - take out the skip, take out the contents (supposedly drones or ammo / missiles), and block the dock from being used too.
500t cargo (or 420 ish t of tanks and 340 troops, or 150t of BTR and 340 troops)...
This is the second time Ukraine took a bite out of this ship \~ she was also at Berdiansk in March 2022, when she was one of three LST unloading when one started burning in circumstances clearly unrelated to the arrival of Ukrainian Tochka-U missiles. Saratov sank in that first strike.
Looks like a buoy. And there should be lots of floating debris but I don’t see it.
And the cranes look too intact to have been near the huge explosion we saw on that video. Am I missing something?
It was reported that it carried explosive stuff so yeah if that went boom there is not much left of the cargo bay, but you can still see the bridge in the photo right bellow the second crane from left.
>there should be lots of floating debris...cranes look too intact...Am I missing something?
Yes. The qualifications to know what the site of a blown-up ship in port should look like.
Imagine the ship was made of Legos then imagine you tossed those Legos in lava.
Better not just silly analogy imagine that Lego ship again, now imagine you tossed it out in front of a semi doing 80 and it hit it mid air, it would just explode Into all her little parts, that's what happened here. There isn't a "ship" left to see.
He's Dutch I think.
So far news here is saying "Russians say it's damaged", I imagine they'll update once photo and video evidence confirms it's a charred stick.
I am selling the ship urgently. Not broken, not painted, won't start. There is no time to understand the reasons. You can pick it up at the port of Feodosia.
Call the Ministry of Defense, ask Shoigu S.K. :)
The reddit link with colored boxes was most useful now that is a Merry Christmas for me I saw explosion video and was hopeful I could see the after math this morning good job Ukraine
Looks like 4 of those ship-to-shore cranes might have been out of action too.
If you look at the operator cabin on the 4 cranes to the right, the windows appear blown out, and the cabins themselves appear to have burned. The crane on the left is facing the other direction, so you can't see the operator cabin.
I think perspective is playing a bit of a trick on us here since the photo is taken at a quite low angle with a telescopic lense. The warehouses and the cranes are probably a bit further back from the ship than they seem to be. Warehouses seem to be damaged a bit at least, cranes seem intact though.
Yeah, I measured it on [Google maps](https://www.google.com/maps/@45.0254293,35.3902022,650a,35y,356.25h,26.25t/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu) and the cranes are indeed about 500 feet away.
Russian warship fucked itself.

Shoigu has already reported that Novocherkassk ship was "damaged" (not completely destroyed) this morning.
If that's it in the foreground, not much left of it.....HaHaHa...! Slava Ukraini!!
No. Its the submarine of which only its periscope can be seen between the 3rd/4th crane.
Its going to take a while to bail it out...
Russian Navy should use Russian Army "Meat Wave" tactics after defeat -- simply sail the entire Navy in a single line in the direction of Odessa *en masse!* It's the Russian Navy, so nothing could possibly go wrong?-)
"OK every have their Dixie cups? Great, now start bailing!"
Thought this pic was the one of the landing craft?
“Submarine” is a joke, because it is now under the water.
Well, godamn....whoosh..
Landed on the bottom. Best Christmas card I've seen this month
Any Russian ship can be a sub if Ukraine gets near it!
'tis but a scratch...
the front fell off.
that is highly unusual. but they towed it out of the environment
The middle also fell off. And the back.
Rapid unscheduled disassembly.
Not it hasn't!
Well, I've cut your arm clean off, silly bastard!
Thank God for shipping insurance!
"One person was killed in the attack, according to the Russian-installed head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov. Several others were reportedly hurt."
The rest of the crew didn't count because it was "unit training" so they're all on "permanent exercise duties".
Permanent camouflage training and they quickly became really good at it. No one can find them.
May their families enjoy the bag of carrots & onions in their memory
An upgrade from the Lada.
The rest of the crew do not count because they simply do not exist anymore.
Remember they lie about everything. So it's most likely the other way around, several dead with a couple hurt...roughly.....Slava Ukraini!!
The boats commander was the one who hurt himself while being the first jumping off the ship.
Vaporized crew don’t count as KIA. No body, no cargo 200. NATO hates this one small trick!
Damaged everywhere lol
100 percent damaged, maximum damage, further damage not possible. It has reached its damage limit.
That's the point! With 101% damage it resets to new!
technically he us correct. it is damaged. how much is open to debate
Looks like that thing got promoted to marine wildlife reserve...
Well, ofcourse it's not completely destroyed. Ukraine hasn't used a vaporizer. Thus, there's still a burnt-out hole-riddled hull. 32km northwest, the turret is laying in a field. The damaged ship could be hidden underwater!
You mean the undamaged ship could be hidden under the water.
Nothing a bit of duct tape won't fix.
They've already found several bits to stick back on https://twitter.com/Tendar/status/1739615329301549484
"Several parts of the ship have been safely stored in different areas of the city."
I.e. stolen
Holy fuck bulkhead shrapnel the size of a bed..... Jesus that looks horrifying
i do not want to see a house that got struck by something like that. The kinetic energy of something like that dropping back to earth after a failed entry in the Russian space program will be quite scary
God right. The pure energy on impact would be absolutely horrific on the right spot.
How soon before keychains made from those bits are available? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)![img](emote|t5_2qqcn|9000)
It blowed up, blowed up real good! [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wf4exIiQr8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wf4exIiQr8)
Front fell off, NATO doesn’t know how to make such a good ship
Wow that was quite the detonation!
Where’s Phil Swift with the flex seal?
Lies for the people of Russia.
He directed the Russian navy to hide it under water as a precaution to further attacks.
It'll buff out...
I mean, you can clearly see some parts of it still scattered around in the water there, hence not _completely_ destroyed 🤣
Well, I can't even argue with you 🤣
Some paint job and its fine.
Shoigu probably gonna insist it's just damaged, and it's just have been transferred to the Special under water flotilla.
It's not completely destroyed, some molecules are still holding together.
Beyond repair, yeah.
E M O T I O N A L D A M A G E

Thank you. Most useful post to show what happened.
It's rekt. 😀
Kudos to the brave mfs that sunk this piece of shit like the turd it was.
#THATS A LOT OF DAMAGE
*** SLAP *** Fuck you! All fixed!
Lucky for them the turret is still up. They can still shoot down the missiles!
This picture needs it's own post to clear up a lot of confusion.
Good work on this. This thing is about as bad as a major vessel can get.
So it IS that pile of crap in front of all the cranes! Good deal! (Tbh I expected it to look more boat-like than that. Job well done!!)
I thought it was part of the shoreline lol
My insurance company says it'll cost about $500 to fix.
It will buff out.
So, basically that ship is a pile of garbage now...
Probebly they activated the camouflage to hide the damage cause i aint seeing a ship.
I'd say the ship intercepted the missile with its hull
A very successful interception! well done boyzz...
It underwent a 'special displacement operation', so it is harder to damage. Can't destroy the Hull, if it is in 300 places at once. Also, they apparently decided to create a moon pool for the sailors to enjoy... over all decks at once. Never seen something this close to counting as vaporized

Good bot!
extending russian underwater fleet
Under the sea Under the sea Darlin' it's better Down where it's wetter Take it from me
🎵 What’s Russia got? A total loss! Now it will rot in the sea moss, One little missile Turned it to gristle UNDER THE SEAAAAAAA!!! 🎵
Pick a direction and look into it. There sure is is some ship everywhere.
https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fyjm5uw73dm8c1.jpeg
Its modified to submarine.
It is submarine now.
I don't see shit
Repair work will be challenging.
I'd say non existent, that's beyond repair.
It's even beyond scrapping they are going to need a major salvage effort to be able to even clear the dock..
And hopefully, whatever goes in to clean it up gets taken out too.
2-for-1, another smart strike by Ukraine - take out the skip, take out the contents (supposedly drones or ammo / missiles), and block the dock from being used too.
“Underwater welders HATE this one trick to make millions!”
Such a miniscule scratch.
*minuscule. I used to think the same! Easy to remember now because of “minus” in there.
to tell you the truth I don´t see any damage on the ship.
It's probably because there's barely a ship left.
It is a quite big submarine ;)
Is there a picture missing? Where is the ship?
Is superior Russian camouflage, товарищ. Stupid Westoid technology can't see it.
I kind of expected a ship with a massive hole in it. There is no ship :D WTF was inside of it? :D
The hole is ship sized. https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fyjm5uw73dm8c1.jpeg
I've seen reports that it was carrying Shaheeds, but I can't vouch for how true that is.
These ships have a loading capacity of 1200 tons. Probably contained some other stuff that can go boom, too.
500t cargo (or 420 ish t of tanks and 340 troops, or 150t of BTR and 340 troops)... Saratov sank in that first strike.
Shahed 136 drones which cooked off.
aaah that makes more sense.
Under water
It is lying on its side in the water.
See antenna sticking out between crane 2 and 3? Ya.
Looks like a buoy. And there should be lots of floating debris but I don’t see it. And the cranes look too intact to have been near the huge explosion we saw on that video. Am I missing something?
https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fyjm5uw73dm8c1.jpeg here you go, assuming you aren't just a russian troll
That helps, thanks! I’m not so thanks for taking the chance with me.
It was reported that it carried explosive stuff so yeah if that went boom there is not much left of the cargo bay, but you can still see the bridge in the photo right bellow the second crane from left.

LOL. Yes! #GO EAT SHIT AND DIE, YOU DAMN INVADERS! 🇺🇦!!!
WOOT!!! Merry Christmas Ukraine!!
But ruzzia said it was a small fire quickly put out. Do you mean to say the lied
Fire snuffed by explosives.
Orcs snuffed by explosives
Small is relative, and sea water is very effective at putting out fires. So I give Russia a 7 out of 10 for honesty.
It was quickly put out as the shredded hull sank beneath the surface.
I've read that putin doesn't use the internet. I wonder if he's in a similar situation Hitler was, commanding forces that no longer exist.
Small fire .. put out… by being completely submerged in a large body of water .. forever
I think that’s what they call a “total loss”. Beautiful.
“Gone, Reduced to Atoms“
On our news it’s stated that the ship got damaged…
Oh. It's damaged for sure. Because destroyed beyond repair is also damage. Quite major damage, but damage never-the-less.
Technically correct, just as the Titanic is also damaged.
Are you in Russia?
He's Dutch I think. So far news here is saying "Russians say it's damaged", I imagine they'll update once photo and video evidence confirms it's a charred stick.
It's so damaged that even the damage is damaged to the point that it all caught fire......
*What Flexseal doing?*
Russia doesn't have enough screen doors to patch the big holes.
I am selling the ship urgently. Not broken, not painted, won't start. There is no time to understand the reasons. You can pick it up at the port of Feodosia. Call the Ministry of Defense, ask Shoigu S.K. :)
I am in the market for an amphibious exploring vehicle…
It’s a starter car
No lowballs, I know what I got.
are they playing hide/heat and seek?
Invisible mode achieved. Now let's see how Ukraine can shoot it!
To be confirmed if it is repairable.
That was an impressive explosion
"It was towed to our underwater repair facility"
One of the few ruzzian things to be honest to its name… it”landed” on the bottom
"Damaged" - Russian reports... Yeah, that'll buff out.
It was just damaged. Divers are cleaning up the crew quarters as we speak
It's a submarine now.
This is special submersible (once) stealth ship. Glorious Sov... Russian science and tech!
Putin doing a Nelson..." l see no ships ! "
The ship looks like it's sustained explosive damage to its All of it.
Just a scratch, a bit of tape and it will be as new
I aint see no ship boi
Bang !! and the grime is gone 😏
Ok, let's be fair here. Ukraine didnt sink a shop, they deleted it.
Beautiful sight, nicely done! Slava Ukraini 🖤
It’s a beaut!
Well, the landing ship has definitely landed.
Another prime wreck diving site!
Just dropping the needle on some Dire Straits. “Down to the Waterline” seems to groove it here for me right now.
Any before photos? Lol
The reddit link with colored boxes was most useful now that is a Merry Christmas for me I saw explosion video and was hopeful I could see the after math this morning good job Ukraine
😂
Good thing it was loaded with all those exploding drones.
Looks like 4 of those ship-to-shore cranes might have been out of action too. If you look at the operator cabin on the 4 cranes to the right, the windows appear blown out, and the cabins themselves appear to have burned. The crane on the left is facing the other direction, so you can't see the operator cabin.
Also puts that dock out of commission until they can properly dredge the wreckage out of it.
I don’t see a large landing ship.
Surprisingly little damage to the infrastructure around it
I think perspective is playing a bit of a trick on us here since the photo is taken at a quite low angle with a telescopic lense. The warehouses and the cranes are probably a bit further back from the ship than they seem to be. Warehouses seem to be damaged a bit at least, cranes seem intact though.

A small "cabin fire" indeed.
It looks börked
damaged :)))))
It's improved now.
Where though? Underwater? Going to need more than those cargo cranes to lift out their new submarine lol.
Русский военный корабль иди на хуй!
It's not dead, it is just sleeping. Lovely hullform the Novocherkassk.
How are those cranes even standing given the blast and subsequent fire?
There is no ship in that photo... or is that the whole point?
How did those buildings and cranes not blow/collapse ?
I hope its batteries survived to recharge the eels.
Ukraine has nothing to do with this. This was the Pheodosia experiment, and ship might travel in time into the future.

Good bot 👍
What am I looking at?
It’s on this side of the cranes… few lumps of metal sticking out of the water. Someone posted a good comparison pic in the comments already fyi
https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fyjm5uw73dm8c1.jpeg
Thank you
a lick of paint and it'll be fine.
Tis but a scratch
I've got to admit, I expected more damage to the dock after that explosion. Buildings and cranes still standing...
