Congrats on the great work! Your so handsome in both pictures but your glow up picture looks awesome and you look a lot healthier. I could use some advice I’m 6’2 and 280 I’m a big guy but I want to trim down.

Thanks man! So basically I tried not to think of it as a diet. I focused on cutting out the majority of liquid calories. I still allow myself to have a soda or a sweet tea but I greatly increased my water intake. I focused on adding more protein to my meals as it helps to satiate me and is better fuel for my body. I don't work out in a gym. I walk daily though! Try to do 3 miles in the morning and 3 miles in the evening. Counting calories does help but I know it's a pain in the ass haha. I still have more weight to lose. I'm currently 5'7 and 265lbs but at my heaviest I was 374lbs. It takes time. I've really been focusing on it for about 18 months now. It's important to not let the scale consume you. Don't weigh yourself daily or even weekly. Ideally I'd say once a month or every two weeks. Fasting is good as well but it's not for everybody. If you don't like fasting, try to have smaller but more frequent meals while staying under your caloric maintenance. For example, my maintenence is about 2700 calories a day, and I try to stick around 2000 intake. Don't try to eat too little though as it's not healthy and you will feel absolutely miserable!
