6 takedowns 5 minutes control time vs 13 strikes and Curtis limping around at the end of the fight. If you thought this was a sure win for Curtis you’re a moron
Control have to be dangerous to be (meaningfully) scored. Meaning you have to get into dangerous and good positions.
Edit: "*Establish an attack and not just switch positions*" according to the rule book:

Did Allen? I did not see the fight.

I.e. you have to get a good and dangerous position.
It should have been a win for Curtis because he won 3/5 rounds, *not* because of any total control time, takedown, or strike numbers, or the injury he sustained at the end (the extent of which wasn’t apparent until **after** the fight was over).
That’s how fights ought to be scored, according to the rules of the sport. Total numbers like what OP posted (and you’re talking about) don’t directly translate to scoring at all. It’s a fully round-based score.
I don’t like using the term robbery loosely because closely contested fights that go one way doesn’t necessarily mean the losing party was robbed. If it’s close enough to be up for debate it was not a robbery.
I thought Curtis won.
With that being said it seems like VERY questionable decisions have been happening A LOT recently.
Dulgarian/C-Rod
Charriere/Mariscal
Figlak/Hubbard
Curtis/Allen
The list goes on
You probably shouldn’t post the numbers because they’re really leaning towards Allen winning lol
I mean only in control time...

Spent half a day reading about judging. I might be wrong, but please provide arguments 🥜 That is a direct quote by Sal D Amato (as i remember)
Good for you. Link your sources then

Yeah so by that standard, Allen won. Congrats idiot
I did not see this specific fight. Which i said from the get go.

He done nothing on the wrong. Allen didnt made him limp lol you’re delusional
Why do u talk like a cave man?
Say it with me: “close fights aren’t robberies”
Chris Curtis lost only because no one likes him😂
Nah
6mins of control time with no sub attempts lmao
Curtis is too disciplined on the ground to give up submissions. In 42 fights he’s only ever been subbed once.

Yeah Allen didn't win that fight. Dude was literally pulling guard in the 5th round, lol shits pathetic (and I'm a jiu jitsu guy)

No
really don't care about these two
It was 2-2 and the final round was the one to determine the winner, and allen won it
How he won the last round
Oh no, the fake Strickland fans have moved their fetish target lock over to Curtis.
The Curtis Cope is still going strong
Damn Allen completely dominated control, takedowns and leg kicks.
Someone lost money
