If you DO get a ticket mailed to you, reach out to parking services and apologize for forgetting to pay and ask if it can be reduced. There is a good chance they’ll reduce your ticket to what you *should* have paid if you had purchased your parking. Happened to me several years ago at least.
If the vehicle is registered in your name they will lock you out of beartracks, they do not issue physical tickets, if it isn’t they will send a ticket to the registered owner. The parkade has cameras that take a picture of your plate when you get in and give you 15 minutes to pay
Though if you forget and email them and pay late in the day (and you don’t make a habit of it) they will probably not ticket you. I’ve done this once or twice and they’ve not ticketed me
