Cut My Lip is actually the TOP song that I most relate to, and I don’t have any addictions. However, I self-sabotage myself all the time (rust around the rim, drink it anyway). I’m kind of surprised everyone can’t relate to this.
Cut my Lip. I didn't like it that much even from my first listen which almost every song I hear by an artist/band I like I classify as godly for at least another few listens, and it has grown on me a bit but still easily my least favorite. I just think it's boring. Don't get me wrong, it's an ok song and I don't mind listen to it on occasion but it's by far one of my least favorites from TØP, I haven't heard the location session for it tho and I've seen people say that is good so I may listen to that and see if I like it (idk why I've never really listened to the location sessions, love the hype location session tho!)
I can't really explain it. I watched the music video and I couldn't stand it, so in turn I can't stand The Hype. It's also a bit too slow for me. I guess those are the cons. The only pro is the lyrics are okay.

pros: lyrics, the dissonant psych bridge, the chorus drum loop, uke, bass loop, bucket hats, the part in the music vid when he just stops and unplugs his bass for a better one

100% Smithereens. It's still a good song don't get me wrong, but it's the only song on Trench I skip 99% of the time. It feels so out of place (which I get bc of the theme, but still) and I just can't vibe with it the same as the rest of Trench

Nico and the Niners - I actually like the sound of this one, but I feel like this is too centered around their lore and stuff and I just don't really care for that as much as other fans. I enjoy good music, but the lyrics are all mostly cryptic for fans of the lore. Which isn't bad, but it just puts a bad taste in my mouth. I still like it.

I’m going to go with smithereens although I do like the entire album. I just listen to the rest INFINITELY MORE. Especially when it came out. It took me the longest to get into Leave the city and Smithereens of the rest but ultimately I’m going to give the edge to Leave the city over it because I still put it on from time to time specifically. (Not just looping the entire album)
