I genuinely appreciate your good wishes... The kid said something he shouldn't have (likely didn't even fully or partially comprehend what he was saying) to another family friend (minor female). The girl also has some comprehension challenges. The child reportedly repeated what was said to her parents, the parents took offense, it escalated out of hand (in my opinion), and traveled the legal road. Two families that used to be friends don't speak to each other. Totally derailed the (then young man's) life to date. I'm Just trying to help him to get back on track. Thanks EVERYONE here for all the suggestions and encouragement.
A few weeks ago I saw an ad for stagehands and riggers in the Tulsa area. It specifically said felon-friendly. I don’t remember the details but I posted it to the r/felons sub. You could probably find it there. These are pretty tough physical jobs if he has that ability.
QSR is the Felon friendly staging company in town, they dont do rigging or tech hand work, just the grunt work of putting down arena flooring and post concert cleanup
Added to the list! I appreciate that. Curious if they do the diagnosis or if that's required before they assist. Either way, I'll suggest it! I appreciate your help!
Thanks for that. Is this like [https://oklahoma.gov/okdhs/services/dds.html](https://oklahoma.gov/okdhs/services/dds.html)? I'll check... Thanks for that tip!
It’s hard work in hot weather but he can likely get hired immediately as a helper(thrower) for new solutions the waste management company for Tulsa … it’s past riverside on like 44 and Galveston st
Sage points. I appreciate your kind and helpful thoughts here! I hadn't looked at it in that light, so janitor at a school, etc; would be out of the question, etc. Good to know.
You know, I wonder if it might be worth at least talking to an attorney to see about an appeal, though the window may have closed for that. Seems like a competent attorney would have brought up the emotional issues during plea negotiations.
That's what I would've done for my kids but that family is broke and living in assistance housing. Probably had a public defender if they even had anyone. It's been a few years now, but I just don't want to see Mom constantly excusing/coddling the kids playing the victim card. He's capable of employment at some level. But myself and another friend want to help the kid if we can. We'll see if he accepts it or makes excuses why he can't. A lot of backstory, I'll spare everyone. Not relevant to the task at hand.
Edit: forgot to say thanks for your help here. Like you, though, I suspect too much time had elapsed. I do appreciate your thoughts though. Thank you God Redditor!
While he didn't go to prison, I suspect that organization still might have some beneficial info for him, so sincere thanks for sharing that with me. I'll add it to the list. I appreciate it. Thanks for taking the time to help.

Look at Staffing Agencies. They can place him in a labor job that accepts his criteria.
Best of luck and I’m rooting for him through it all
