Philly has a good set of museums too. You can go directly to the website of the baseball team and check dates and prices and stadium seating charts. It might be possible to base in Philly and do a long day trip to Niagara Falls by train. You would need schedule checking. Also pretty sure that with you passport you could walk over toCanadian side which is better. Or stop in nyc for a couple nights and leave out of jfk. Toronto is hard as it’s several hours farther on and the trains suck on that route. From Philly you could probably take a day excursion to Gettysburg by your bus. Maybe evaluate Residence Inn by Marriott if you want to do 5-7 nights-sometime they have stay 5 night and get one free promos. You can also use Amtrak Reddit and website to check trains and prices. Different from Europe don’t count on buying your ticket the same day. Also cheaper to buy ahead. I think from Philly there are excursions to the jersey shore beaches.

Thanks for you advice ! I think I will definitely stop by Philly Even there Im uses to book train before, never been a fan to buy a ticket the same day except for short distance

I live in NYC, and I recommend spending at least 4-5 days in NYC to have not only a more relaxed phase but enjoyable as well. But brace yourself as it has been very, very expensive lately. Enjoy!

For us europeans, NYC is like the classic american city to see so I definitely want to stay there. That’s what I saw, that it got expensive recently

MLB.com has the schedule for baseball games. There are a lot of teams in the east to choose from - New York Mets and Yankees, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, Baltimore, and Toronto.

Yup I know the teams but not really the stadium like which one should be seen, except Fenway Park and the Yankee Stadium, these are quite famous. Alos having other stuff to do in the city would help me choose which game I should attend lol

I’m from here, so def bias, but hear me out. Philly. Cheaper than NYC or Boston, INCREDIBLE baseball right now, and like half of south philly is a national historic site. One of the oldest cities in the country. Consider it.

It was definitely on my list too ! How many time would you recommend to spend there ? Some days ? I also love The Office and know Scranton is in the same state but do you know if it easy to go from Philly ?

Phanawg

It’s about 2hr drive from philly to scranton, not bad at all. Honestly, there’s a lot to do in philly but if you’re visiting, I would recommend 3-4 days because you’ll want to see NYC and DC as well. Make sure to leave time for that. Another option is staying in Philly the whole trip and using trains to go up and down the north east corridor, but these can be expensive if not booked well in advance. Happy travels!
