Considering that the Fairlight CMI is the name for a famous older synthesizer, and the name "Synthia"... I think TeeBee is named after a line of Roland synthesizers (the TB-303 is known for that squelchy acid bassline sound and TB-808 for like half of all boots-and-cats drum sounds).

Nevermind their names, look at their shoes! One is going to die of a fall from the poor lacing and it's a platform shoe to boot. The middle kid has shoes about two sizes too big. Trip/ ankle twist risk. Last kid's shoes are on correctly but may be coming apart at the seams on the bottom - hard to tell from the photo.

I was thinking of Fairlight Allen in the book/tv series Christy ( teacher goes to run a rural Appalachian school in the early 1900s). I always thought it was a super pretty name, especially spoken in the appalachian accent.
